“I used to live about a block away from this place, right across the crazy intersection where you take your life in your hands as a pedestrian. There is a nice quaint selection of craft beer here, I find something new every time I visit, plus they have a good selection of first aid items at the small register for when you get busted up trying to cross the street at that dangerous intersection I mentioned previously, they had a buckledown tasting today“

“An update: My main beer buddy lives in Riverside, and has gotten to know the owner of Riverside Foods. The owner knows his craft beer from what I’ve heard, and the owner is part of the Riverside Beer Geeks group. A small family-owned grocery store in a well-to-do suburb of Chicago. For a store its size, the craft beer selection is exceptional, but if you’re looking for lots of it, this isn’t the place. What they do have is very high quality though.“
