“Sklep z kraftowym piwem na peryferiach Arlon. Miejsc parkingowych pod dostatkiem. Obsługa na wysokim poziomie. Niezły wybór piw, głównie kratowych z Europy, oczywiście najwięcej z Belgii. Było też kilka piw z USA ale nie były to pierwszoplanowe pozycje. Jest też miejsce fo degustacji. Duży potencjał tego miejsca ale chyba jeszcze nie do końca wykorzystany“

“Bottle shop in a commercial zone in Weyler/Arlon. The shop is clean and tidy, offering a very nice selection of beers. The bottle shelves in the main area of the place are divided in three parts: The central one for local beers of both Luxembourgs, the one on the left for beers of the remaining Belgian provinces and the one on the right for foreign beers. The guy in the shop helped me out and recommended me a few brews and the prices are normal or even below average for the beers it sells. They also sell growlers there.“

“Large range of beers, with some good advice given from the owner, coming across a bit brusque. Prices were on a large scale pretty fair. Shop could use a bit more of a welcoming feel but overall great shop.“

“Excellent shop on a Zone Industriel, terrific selection and the owner spoke good English. Only problem was that the shop is definitely for Belgian craft beer, I thought I knew a bit about beer, but 90% of the breweries were unknown to me. Good if you want to take a punt on something that's probably jolly nice“

“What a find in the area! Great selection! The shop feels a bit un-cosy though. Shop owner is very knowledgeable but gets a bit iffy if you know something about beer he does not. Good thing is that you can stock up on growler here. Prices are ok for most beers.“

“Not a bad place to check out, if you like specialties and rarities they might just have what you’re looking for. Very knowledgable owner but the usual trouble of too much stock and not enough refrigeration. There no telling how long the beers have been sitting on the shelves“

“Easy reachable store, free parking in front of the shop. The shop is pretty small, not a big selection but great quality. A lot of good stuff from smaller breweries, Belgium and international. or example The Kernel, Cascade, Lickinghole Creek and Hill Farmstead but also nice Italian, French and Spanish beers. Very friendly staff, fair prices. Recommended to visit for great, rare to find beers.“

“An excellent pub with nice english style interior and a huge beer list. Don’t let the pub’s name fool you. The focus is on belgian beers. The beer menu is one of the better I have come across during ten years of beer touring Belgium with friends.“

“A small 9 room hotel with restaurant and good rooms, run by a very nice couple. We were four friends who stayed a prolonged weekend, and we agree on this beeing an absolutely top place to stay at. What really makes this hotel to stand out is the fantastic helpfulness of the owner. The restaurant is ambitious and they also have an impressive wine cellar. The beer list is not so long, but very well chosen. Ask also what beers they currently have that is not on the beer menu. The owner has a genuine beer interest and good connections with Mi-Orge Mi-Hublon. The hotel is an ideal starting point for tours of the region. The owner, Thierry Neyens, will give you good advise. He has a huge contact net, beeing the president of Fédération HoReCa Wallonie, the federation of hotels and restaurants in Wallonia.“

“Stopped here at the beginnen of our euro-trip. Finally made it!! Had (too) high expectations of this place. First of all, compared to the other famous beergeek stores, it’s small, really small. And you probably need a car as well (as most of the other good beer geek shops). The owner was very very friendly and helpful. Absolutly top notch. The selection however was disappointing. Some cool stuff, yes. Well choses, yes. But just insignificant when compared to Geers/DeConinck/DeCaigny... Value was also not that great. DeConinck is better when it comes to prices as well. Overall an OK place, but I can’t see myself put in the effort to visit a second time...“

“I have been spending friday and saturday evenings over there for ... 10 years. It’s a nice place, Loris, the bartender is a very nice man, always making sure you’re nicely settleled and well served. Selection is classical but diverse for a Belgian bar. The abiance is always great, Once a month, on a thursday, you can enjoy a nice blind test. Music is always great, classic rock and blues. A must go if you’re around Arlon !“

“Very nice english style pub in Arlon. The music and ambiance is always pleasant. Service is near to perfect. Unfortunately, the english style pub comes with the english prices. Quite expensive, but worth every penny !“

“Though it is not that far from where I live, the opening hours allowed me to visit only once. The place is quite small, but feels like heaven. The lady that attended me was extremely nice and helpful and guided me to unknown beers that all matched my taste. I’m sure I will return on a regular basis and discover many more great beers :-)“

“I stopped in on a trip to France as I need to stock up on some nice beers for Christmas. The shop was busy but Chris was helpful as he scurried about. A very nice selection of beers reside in his cozy neighborhood shop. It is certainly a place that I will return to if I am in the area.“

“Accomodating to make an appointment, Great service, helpful hints and tips, great selection on minimal space. Haven’t been to the vintage cellar and only had half a trunk to fill - but this is indeed an obligatory target whenever strolling off into Belgium’s South/Luxembourg and spend an illuminated hour between fine beers. JeanChris’s own beers are worth checking out as well, pity the Nomad was out (even for their own consumption!). À la prochaine!“

“Great tiny beershop, jam packed with great selection. Chris is very knowledgeable and will talk at length in English or French about the beers he stocks, or just about beer in general. You can easily waste an hour talking about beer and not notice. I think the selection is only limited by the size of the shop, the guy is clearly committed to finding the rarest and best beers around. Good prices too. Very enjoyable trip to this beer shop, I will definitely be back.“
