“A small brewery in downtown Morehead. They have a bit of outdoor seating, including a section of blocked off road where there are large tables and a stage. Not that much indoor seating, long bar. The tap list is longer than their website suggests. They had about 10 taps and 10 guest taps, a good chunk from nearby Turtleback Ridge Brewing (including some collaborations). Mostly basic and lighter styles (kolsch, pale, a few saisons, porter, etc). Beers were ok, I quite enjoyed my spiced imperial stout and porter but others were forgettable. No food menu, a few snacks like chips you can purchase. Definitely has that small town feel and mostly locals there it seemed. It's the only place in town...but it's a decent stop!“

“I used to frequent this dive all the time in college, and a few times here and there since then. Very small store with drive-thru. Service is, in my experience, not particularly eager, but that could have changed over time. Selection can be mundane to downright fascinating. They have some regional brews and the big national craft beers here as well, but I found a four year old bottle of Kasteel Donker (750 ml) for 3.99; the owner had it on clearance because it was "too old," it still drank good. Prices were maybe a bit on the high side compared to Lexington, but this is one of the only places to get good beer for miles (and miles). Good if you are in the area and want something non-BMC, but not a destination on it’s own.“
