72 /100 3100 BLACK ROCK RD Of all the farm breweries I've been to in the MD/VA area, this is the one that was perhaps most like an actual working farm. To get there you drive down a winding farm road past horses, barns and all kinds of stuff. Cool wooden interior here with a live band. Their beer is very based on the stuff they have at the farm. Great in principle, until you have to drink a whole beet IPA. Service OK, small pours available. No food here other than chips and such. Their big stouts (they didn't have any small stouts when I visited) where the best beers. |
