70 /100 15010 RODDY RD Stopped by this afternoon to get out. Tasting room temporarily in a large garage while a much larger one is built. Samples of wine, mead and cheeses for reasonable prices. Very friendly staff, pretty good wines and mead. Overall enjoyable visit. |
64 /100 15010 RODDY RD A nice stop in MD on your way to Gettysburg. The tasting room is small while they build out the new building. Three meads were available and were quite tasty. |
68 /100 15010 RODDY RD Beautiful setting near the Catoctins. New cellar will be completed next week. You can taste all three meads available for $6, or taste four wines and a mead, either with our without local cheeses. I like that the brewer does not filter or use finings in the mead. Owner is very friendly, and both his wines and meads are tasty. There is also a small patio where you can sip a bottle. Very worthwhile stop. |
