“Located in downtown Grandville. I entered a sorta dim lit eating area with a very long bar to one side. Medium selection of beers, I had the porter and stout. I ordered BBQ, it was good slightly salty, bartender was pleasant.“

“Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon around dinner time, but didn’t eat. Sampled a few beers and chatted with the bartender. Offered places to check out in the area, knowledgeable and friendly. Decent beer selection, menu was small but decent. Easy parking. Would go back.“

“Visited for lunch. Really large space with a small number of patrons. Sampled all the beers had a good pizza and played darts. Nice stop, beer was usually solid quality. If I was local I’d be here a lot.“

“A little out from GR. Lots of space, maybe too much, was nit crowded. I don’t know if it was a dance floor or what but very open. Lots of tables and bar space. Friendly enough bar staff. Beer was just ok, better place to go IMO.“

“I visited because of ToggleEyes�s posting on RateBeer. I was impressed by the brews available at $1.69. I filled a couple of 6-packs with Stoudts Double IPA, Spaten Optimator, Sierra Nevada Big Foot, Bell�s Rye Stout, Bell�s Consecrator, Victory Hop Devil, etc. Receipt showed details of each beer for a nice check list. All cold. I�ll return! 3/10/10 rerate: They now offer a 10% discount on mixed cases. Beer selection has been greatly expanded. Two Hearted Ale is $8.99 everyday, the cheapest price in the area. 5/19/14 rerate: New smaller store is a bit more crowded. Everything available as singles.“

“Great, somewhere to stop between Hudsonville and Founders, as if I needed it lol. Nice place and interesting pizzas with decent service. Since they are just getting started, beer was run-of-the-mill styles and average at best. Service was good and I liked the oddball pizza I had.“

“Downtown area of Grandville, repurposed building. Big area, brewing equipment on display, everything is simple and clean, bar area separated from dining area. Seems really loud, even with only a few people here. Staff was very attentive, and some know beer well. Food seemed a little overpriced. Good stop on the way to GR.“

“Disappointing, "Dan the Beer Guy" wasn’t there or at least I never saw him. When you ask a person in a beer store in Southern Michigan if they have 3Floyds and they respond by asking where is it from? You know you are in trouble. As for beer selection, a liquor store in Lincoln, NE has a better selection. YES, Lincoln, NE. The only Founders’ beers they carried are the ones the brewpub can’t sell. Good for the people that like this place.“

“Quickly becoming my go to shop. The owners take requests, and every week i stop in there is an even better selection. Pricing seems fair and is within a dollar either way of other local shops. I really like that 90% of their selection is available cold. Service goes above and beyond. They ask if i need any help everytime i am in there, and i am made aware of any new items. I love this place.“

“This is a gourmet food store, that also has a really nice selection of beers. They really hit the local breweries hard and heavy. A fair amount of German, British Isles, and Belgian too. You need to keep coming, back too, as the variety changes often. I’ve bought things there, and when I came back it was no longer available, and its place on the shelf was filled with something else. Very nice BYO6 pack area and a walk-in cooler too.“

“Watch out for the shelf life of some of their beers, especially IPAs. I received a number of off bottle. decent selection of southern tier beers and michigan stuff. a bunch of singles. nothing crazy or rare, but nice when they have 15 % off sale.“

“Nice market....friendly atmosphere. Lots of good beer, some older stuff that’s been of the market for awhile. Haven’t tried the food, but since its a Dutch store it must be good. Two aisles and three or four coolers dedicated to beer. Good pplace with pretty good value.“

“Sign on the door said 15% off on singles today… that’s a good thing to see when searching for beer. Came out with three mixed six packs of mainly Michigan beers. They have a nice selection of Michigan beers and beyond. More of a grocery store than a liquor store, but two aisle faces were dedicated to beer with a huge selection of build your owns in coolers.“

“A worthwhile stop, but not a mecca for the beerheads. You can buy singles, they have a pretty good selection (not great, but they are well chosen for the most part.) I haven’t talked with anyone there about beer or had any beer questions, so service refers more to the cheery people who check out and answer dumb questions I might have about Dutch cheese. Apart from the beer, DeReuze has a great selection of import foods...“
