“Went as a pit stop on my way up US31 between Holland and Traverse City. All the beers I had were average or below average. Servers were not knowledgeable and service was slow despite it not being that busy. Food was OK. Good value and a neat looking space.“

“Timbers Ludington offers 23 draft beers form all over Michigan and other states. 2 story historic bar with two story deck overlooking Lake Michigan marina. Great food, dancing, live bands and more. This is a must see when in Ludington“

“Came in on a Tuesday night while traveling on business. Seemed like a large place, clean. Service was okay. Beers were mediocre. Food was slightly better. Nothing too special but good for a few ticks and dinner.“

“Smaller place with small stage and a connecting bar, ambiance has the feel of a small brewpub. Although we didn’t get any food, the novel food service is worth mentioning, fill out a taco ticket and had to bar tender, no servers. Good selection of beer on tap with some Michigan mainstays and a couple off the path brews that were enjoyable. Will visit again on future trips to ludington.“

“Pleasant brewpub near the harbor - large patio in the back. Nice selection of beers - I was pleased with the quality especially the German styles. Was there at lunch so no problems with seating or service. Nice stop.“

“Street parking. 12 Michigan taps. 60+ bottles. Friendly staff with good knowledge and let me do samples. Food from bar next door with walk thru door. Good prices. Great location for this area.“

“I was going to stop by last time I was here 4 years ago, but didn’t. Might as well make it my 50th rating! Nice little joint with sitting inside and out. We were going to do the outside thing and watch the storm roll in, but the old lady was overcome by heat, so inside we went. 12ish taps to take the pain away, and you can order flights to your choosing. Server was nice, and cussed like I do (didn’t even notice), food was a rockstar. 2nd best bite I had to eat (sorry, you still don’t beat mamma’s lasagna) while in state. Overall, drop by even if you are not in the neighborhood, you’ll have a great time. Just look out for THE LAW, they set up shop just outside across the street waiting for people that had too much to drink. Plan ahead.“

“400 plus bottles maybe an over estimate- I counted about 200. Small country store where you can get yourself some brews and fishing licenses. A few brews I hadn’t seen before in state, but was able to later kick myself in the head since this was my last chance to grab some. Overall- if you’re in the area, stop by, along with 2 dozen crawlers. I’ll see you out on the pier fishing too!“

“Came into town expecting a little more for my time and money. We stopped by on New Years Eve to watch the ball drop (Great time at this event) and treat ourseleves to some craft beer. Beer was very good but the service wasn’t there, had to switch plates, not cooked right on and on.“

“Visited for lunch on a weekday in the summer. Feels like a little mom and pop restaurant in a shore town that happens to brew beer, but they had plenty of taps (maybe 8?), with some surprisingly good selections, some average. Nice, quiet outdoor seating overlooking (from a distance) the harbor, very private, practically feels like you could be at home out there. A place that doesn’t necessarily excite you but still leaves you very happy.“

“This is a small brewpub/restaurant in the touristy town of Ludington, MI (all the other patrons appeared to be out-of-towners as well). We sat outside on the patio that somewhat overlooked the harbor (it wasn’t ON the harbor but close enough to see it). The bar looked very nice too. The beer here was ok - there were maybe 6 taps and most of them were your basic styles. The food was decent (I got a cherry pecan salad) but there is an extensive menu. Overall, it was a nice place to chill with a pint and some food.“

“Good beer, bad food, fair service. Sat at the bar. Just run of the mill menu. But I thought the beer was much better than the rankings.“

“We sat outdoor and enjoyed the warm weather. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was good, my sister enjoyed huge chef salad, the wraps were good according to the family and my pasta and chicken was good. The beer was not too shabby and priced well. Will continue to stop in when in the area.“

“Stopped by for dinner, and sat on the back porch area. A large vacant lot behind the place allows one to watch the car ferry as it comes in, and what a treat that was! I had two samplers, five 5oz. samples for $6, very reasonable, especially since the beers were generally very good. Food was outstanding, especially the blackened chicken sandwich. I had the fish and chips, and was overwhelmed with the portions. Fries, as typical in a place like this, were beer battered and excellent. Service was prompt and attentive. A couple of the advertised beers were out. This would be a very regular hangout, if only we lived closer than six hours. Maybe we should take the car ferry??“

“On vacation in Luddington for a few days last summer and had a chance to visit here. The ambiance was nice, small and cozy storefront style pub with the brewing equipment in the basement. Friendly staff that asked my a lot about my note taking. The brewer even stoped by and said hi. Lots of locals that seemed to know each other and the employees.“

“Nice atmosphere and quite excellent bar/beer food. We went for lunch. Decent selection of brews though they were out of the ones that sounded the most interesting to me.“

“A shining star in this part of Michigan. The selection and service was very good with the servers and management very freindly and helpful in their knowledge of their brews. Good sampler set. Did not eat a lot, but food looked good and served well. Cigar freindly. I will go back when in the area.“
