“This place was not very large, and sparse, but the guy working there was very knowledgeable about beer. I don’t usually like all the beers at any brewery, but all of theirs were tasty. I highly recommend this place to all beer lovers.“

“Pro’s: Huge beer/wine list at least 30 beers and wines. Substantial bar stools Knowledgeable staff Cons: Noisy if you want to shout at your companions this is the place to go No foot rest at bar Sound system sucks Hipsters Kinda pricey I want to love Whichcraft I really do the beer list is huge and it’s all Michigan beers which is a plus in my book you can go get a growler filled with anything that is on draft and the staff is very knowledgeable. However, it’s just too loud in there they have wood floors and a wood ceiling with brick walls. I had to shout at my companion the whole time we were there which is not OK in my book would it kill them to put just a little bit of sound damping materials in the ceiling? The sound system is just two speakers behind the bar which you can’t hear over the noise anyway, so I don’t even now why they even try. Now the prices are a bit high a flight of 5 4 oz beers is around $11-$15 dollars whereas I would get 8 4 oz beers at Midland Brewery for $11. So, in closing I want to love Whichcraft but they need to make some major changes before I would add them to my A+ list they get a C+ from me.“

“Ambiance is lacking. Has a cafe/warehouse feel that doesn’t seem to quite fit. They’ve dimmed lighting which seems to help a bit. Service is very friendly but both times I’ve been has lacked any beer knowledge. There are a decent number of beers to choose from but most are tame with only an occasional high grav. or something really interesting. The beers are good though, so worth a stop.“

“Inside is spacious and clean. Cool that you can watch the brewers. Waitress was cute and funny but new nothing about the beer which was sad. To her credit she did go and get answers to my questions and gave me a printout of all there beers. Beer is good from the tap. Selection is weak though. No big beers but since it’s summer I’m thinking it’s just the time of year. Will come back during fall/winter and see if they brew anything big.“

“made a visit sunday last. middle of the afternoon and was the only one there with daughter and nephew...they each had their homemade orange soda and rootbeer, both were good. i tried several samples before making my selection for my 2 growlers. took the jennys nutbrown ale and the pils which was interesting because it had a touch of anise in it...you can sit and watch the brewers work if you wish. its a spacious bar with a popcorn machine. i believe they sell pizza by the slice but you can bring any food in your want. the manager was very knowledgeable. i really enjoyed the place just wish i had more time to hang there. but i will go back.“

“Small on selection but growing well. The closest place where you can buy singles in the tri-cities. Decent gourmet food selection with a great variety of cheeses. Lots of wine. Great staff.“

“I was just at this store a couple of weeks ago. I wish there was store near my house with this selection. It is definitely above average especially for a town the size of Midland. I got some Anderson Valley Oatmeal Stout, Lion’s Stout, and a couple of Bell’s Expedition. We asked and they do split sixers“

“Well this store is sure a nice little gem in an otherwise BMC city. Recently remodeled exterior makes it easy to spot from the road. Not a huge selection, but a nice variety of Unibroue, Rogue, Anderson Valley, Victory and a number of MI beers available. Homebrew and winemaking supplies as well. The store dedicates most of its space to wine as well as an extensive selection of cheeses. Nice staff taboot.“

“I was always told that Midland is a beer desert. Maybe for bars, but I found this place and now I can actually look forward to visiting my in-laws! Ha Ha! They have a respectable selection of english, belgian, and regional beers. All nicely displayed. Regionals and micros include Bells, Arcadia, Dark Horse, Founders (including limited release beers), Victory, Great Lakes, New Holland, Dragonmead, Goose Island, Stoudts, and so on. Primarily a fancy wine and gourmet store, but they dedicate an entire wall to beer. They do not appear to break sixers though. I’ll cut them a break since they are in Midland.“
