“My wife and I (as well as our friends) frequent Brown Iron on a regular basis. Being 2 miles away from our house is just an added benefit, allowing it to be our go-to place if we want to go out. The food is absolutely exceptional (and always is - their consistency is incredibly impressive), everything is smoked in-house and scratch made. The beer selection is extremely diverse (and huge - 66 taps) and always rotating - with the ability to check into what is on tap, and how much is left, online. They have plenty of events from tap showcases/takeovers, rare beer tappings, etc. Outdoor seating during the warmer months is a great place to sit and enjoy the weather while enjoying the food and beer selection. They’ve just built a second parking lot a block south, so parking issues are no longer a problem. Really an absolutely fantastic place.“

“Best burger in town! Pair it with one of their 66 beers on tap or their micro brew and you’ve got a great meal. Service was excellent. Waitstaff very attentive. High quality food is always cooked exactly as ordered. Unusual beer selections and great events held here. I would encourage the beer connoisseur to give it a try!!“

“Really solid place. Great variety of tap beers (both local and non-local). Got a flight, and although one of the beers was messed up, the server fixed it and gave it to us on the house. Would definitely go back.“

“Brown Iron is a much needed craft beer bar in Northern Macomb County! I was very impressed with their tap list- they must have 60+ taps, with some very hard-to-find stuff. We attended the Bells Craft Beer Strolling dinner, which was VERY well executed. They had some rare beers (The Wild One!), and the food was top notch. I look forward to coming back to this place frequently in the future!“

“Renovated leather shop is now home to a spacious new taproom with a massive 66 taps. An electronic display keeps track of quantities left in the kegs. Service was good (Monday evening) and the food looks great and will be back to try it. The only two misses here were the small parking lot and the flimsy, narrow picnic table seating. Hopefully when the outdoor beer garden opens they will shove these out there and put in some real seating inside.“
