“Old style, eclectic but colorful brewery & taproom in Lower Town/St. Paul. Open beams, with large trunk line heat & air, an array of tables & seating, large "L" bar with an ordering station in front of a large wall that holds a colorful menu board, taps, and somewhat hides the brewery vessels & equipment. A long back hall leads to the washrooms and out to above street level, alfresco seating. Food trucks often visit. Very friendly staff, with mainly IPAs and some sours on my initial visit. Felt right at home! Will definitely visit when I return to visit family, see the Saints play, attend the State Fair, or sooner!“

“Very open design, great in good weather. Outdoor tables, partially covered. Inside is a long bar and two rooms of restaurant tables. Eight or so beers on offer, none of their own. Food was OK, brunch stuff seemed warmed up.“

“Visited (twice) during Kyle's wedding week. Good luck man, I hope she improves. Easy walk from hotel in a business area of lowertown, wonder if they get a good after work crowd--decent location for that. Small place, with a big bar and some table seating as well. Bartenders seemed to know their stuff and wonder if they wear multiple hats as it seems like a smallish operation. Many taps and at first I went with the pride flight which was cute and colorful and included seltzers and a sours. All beers were fine but nothing stood out (geniusboy72 liked the stout). Location is the key here, so will return if in the area, but wouldn't necessarily go out of my way.“

“Visited with ck1, HelloKitty13, COBro, BeardedCTBrewer, bananabi11, and CTDaughter during wedding weekend. Parking is downtown style; find a spot with a meter or use one of several close parking garages. There is no parking on their side of the street with the streetcar/trolley down the middle. Garden style entrance, a few steps down from the street, but along an alley, so big windows on 2 sides give a solid amount of light. Rectangular shaped bar in the center of a good-sized space. Tables around the remainder, with a to-go fridge along the back. Just an open space which likely was a restaurant in a prior life. Bartender was solo and juggled many roles including popping pizzas in a pizza oven. He was reasonably attentive. 16-20 taps went across styles with a temporary emphasis on multi-colored brews as it was Pride Week in the Cities. Most were solidly executed just leaning into the "somewhat thin" arena, although the several best seemed to be more classic styles, including a good lager. Prices seemed to about in the range of the area. The bathrooms are out the side door into a central hallway, then down a ways which was confusing on the return when faced with 6 or 8 not-well-labelled entrances to shops. Decent place. If in Lowertown again, would return.“

“Great airport stop for craft beer. Lots of taps, and all local stuff. Probably hadn't heard of 80% of them, and many were great. And the ones I had heard of were from breweries like Surly. Flights available. Prices on par for airports. Service airport OK. Most of the beer I had was great too, so well curated taps.“

“Another nice brewery Jess and I visited during our 2022 trip to the Twin Cities for Matt and Anna's wedding. Large industrial space with even larger outside seating. Food trucks outside and plenty of taps inside. Really pleasant. Recommendation from Andy.“

“This was a fun brewery that Jess and I stumbled upon during our trip to the Twin Cities in 2022 for Matt and Anna's wedding. Large older industrial building with a spacious interior and even larger outside seating area. About a dozen taps and the service was quite good.“

“A big fan of this place. Selection is pretty decent, and theres a wine/liquor section on other end of store, but its the mixer 6er aspect of the shop that was what I was looking for. Plenty of MN brews and premier international ones too. Visited with Jess in 2022 before Matt and Anna's wedding.“

“Was rather impressed by this place at the airport. It really lifted my mood on a day when my flight was subject to a significant delay. OK so there is not much atmosphere to speak of (it is in the airport) but they have a really good tap list, covering a variety of styles, and they do flights! Just the thing to kill an hour or more whilst waiting for the other type of flight.“

“Stopped by here for lunch and some beers. Spacious beer garden out back, six house beers on draft and the flight was all six. House beers are all Germanic styles--the dunkel lager was legit excellent (nice and smoky) but everything was well done. Brat was solid, pretzels and mustard sampler were terrific, potatoes didn't do it for me. But this isn't ratepotatoes.com. Not worth going out of your way for but perfectly good option if in the area--places which do good Germanic style beers are not as common as they should be.“

“Decent-size place open Airy and slightly Industrial. Loud bass Heavy Music on in the background sitting at the bar chasing the Brewing tanks with a large window wall opposite. Your selection is made me hoppy with a Kolsch, a seltzer, a couple of sours and a couple of slushies. No dark beers. Friendly service. Potato chips and a food truck outside to eat. They have a great reputation for excellent hoppy beer. And I'm here to tell you that it's Justified.“

“Medium sized storefront in an industrial part of St. Paul. I had 2 TIPA's, both over 10% but tasted great with no booze burn. Good service, good beer, 10 taps with a few unique styles. Family-friendly, but no food. We were in a bit of a rush but I'd like to spend more time in this place.“

“Small industrial-type place in a crowned and happening section of St. Paul. 12 taps, mostly IPAs, with one stout, one seltzer and one lager. The stout I had was underwhelming but the IPA was excellent. Friendly service, the place had a neighborhood feel overall like everyone knew each other. Nice unassuming place, you must like IPAs to go here, but I do.“

“Takes up the top level of the cool hip new Keg n Case market. Place is almost always swamped and the service can suffer a bit a times. They have room for 12 beers but usually closer to 8. Small pours are available. No food at the brewery but a plethora of options at the market. Prices are a touch on the high side.“

“I was in search of local beers and this place did not disappoint. The selection of beers available by singles was extraordinary. As a bonus the owner let us in a little early. They now open at 11 AM. RB has it right, google maps has it wrong! The owner also had some excellent advice on some beers (Olvalde for one) that I might otherwise have overlooked. They even have Drekker beers from North Dakota. Stop by the wine store and read the reviews. Some of them are hilarious. I highly recommend this place.“

“Pretty damn impressive airport bar, and it opens early, so you can get your ticks on even in the morning. They do flights, typically turns out to be $12-15 for 4, which is high, but I’ve seen worse in airports. Good beer selection, with lots of local MN stuff. It’s on the other side of security before you head to your concourse / gate, so you can’t miss it. Top notch for an airport bar.“

“A decent sized redone warehouse brewery in what appears to be a revitalized industrial area. A nice large patio to sit out on. They ten to have 10-12 beers on tap. No food on site but they often have food trucks on site. Prices are in line with the area. Not a must hit but worth a stop if you are near by.“

“Decent sized bar with a lot of TVs, had a sports bar feel to the place. Service was a bit inattentive and not particularly beer oriented. A good sized tap list however it was AB Inbev (and related micros) focused. Flights were available. Food was standard bar fare. Prices were decent overall.“

“A new spot located in a developing indoor market with Octofish bar and a meat store. A nice feel to the place with bar on one end and plenty of seating. Two, noninvasive TVs. They had 8 beers on tap with small pours available. Service was fine and bartender knew the beer. Did not try the food on my visit. Prices were in line with the area.“

“Nice spot inside the Keg and Case market in St Paul. Comparable (in theory) to Eastlake's position in Global Midtown. Clutch is on the second floor ring around the building. Bar with seating for about 12, but seating all around the upper deck, including small tables, group tables, cushy chairs, sofas... Room for 12 taps eventually, with 6 on now plus a soda. Flights are $3/5oz, though they are missing paddles/boards. Generally $6 pints; a tad spendy, but I don't begrudge it given the location and probable rent. Beers are solid: nothing mind blowing, nothing disappointing. I will say that getting a good feel for the aroma is hard with a glorious BBQ join in the building, but I'll live with that. Outside food is allowed, and there are lots of options in Keg and Case.

Of note, the server that took my order noted that they were short of taster glasses and she just put a rack in the dishwasher. She offered to comp a pint while I waited 5 min for the glasses to clean then cool. I passed, because I didn't need that much beer before driving. Bar got busy, she forgot, I walked up to get my other flight beers. Even after apologizing profusely, they comped me 3 beers in the future, plus open tab for the night. That kind of staggeringly ridiculous customer service deserves to be called out.“

“I can't believe I haven't gotten around to rating this place. Small historic saloon that has a bit of a B&B quality to it. About 6 beers on at a time, all very well made historic lagers. Tend to use floor-malted base malts when possible. House-made syrups when the Berliner is on. Kitchen makes outstanding German food, though it can lean on the pricier side, like $14 for a brat basket or a sauerbraten sandwich. On the other hand, they are definitely Johnsonville brats or some soured garbage beef, and come with a few sides. Pints are about $5, flight of 3 for $7. Beer Garden has recently opened. Parking can be tricky. Absolutely love them.“

“Took long enough to get here... Industrial warehouse vibe. About 10 stools at the bar, a number of large communal tables, and some high tops for four. Games, trivia, live music on occasion. Tap list is much more expansive than earlier reviews: 17, including a nitro, a cask, a number of infusions, one offs, and randoms. $2.50 or $3.00/4oz, so $10 flights of four. Beer quality is above average, ranging from "meh" to "oh hell yes." Ramp across the street and light rail stop nearby. No kitchen, but shares a building with a pizza joint and Thai place, plus plenty of others, so no shortage of options.“

“This is a fine destination type brewery if you like Summit beers. It's a big room with a fine bar and great service. The space isn't as hip or pretty as breweries have come to be--the tables and chairs are effectively backyard patio tables rather than beer hall type long tables and benches, e.g. The floor is a rather forgettable tile and the lighting from the very high (warehouse style) ceiling just normal. So for ambiance my wife and I were not impressed. The beer selection was nice, and there was a good food truck outside. The shop had some excellent items at fair prices--I like their clothes styling. But because we were unimpressed by the beer, and not especially impressed by the building (on a grand re-opening weekend for the facility so it should have been better than ever?), we concluded that we would likely never be back.“

“A cool spot located in a lower level of a large St. Paul building. Good lighting considering the limited windows. A few TVs that were not invasive. 12 beers on tap with sample pours available. Staff was helpful and knew the beer. No food on site but you can bring in food. Prices were in line with the area. Definitely worth a stop and between this and Barrel Theory downtown St. Paul now has a much stronger scene than downtown Minneapolis.“

“A large open warehouse feel to the place. Dark wood and colors match up with Minnesota United's colors. Does not seem like a coincidence given the nearby stadium that is being built. Place was busy but staff was on point. Only four beers on tap but looks like they plan to have more down the road. Food trucks are usually on site and prices are inline with other beer spots in the area. I will be interested to see how they develop over time.“

“A decent brewery in St Paul. A fairly large, open yet cozy place. Their tap list is decent sized (perhaps 10-12 beers), with a variety of different styles, most of which I found to be average. No food, but there are food trucks. Not a stand out place for me, but solid.“

“A great new brewery in downtown St. Paul. Located in a basement but a nice space with a large bar, TVs, and tables. Beer selection and quality was good. I got to try a chocolate stout, black IPA, SMaSH IPA, and berliner weisse. The bathroom situation was not ideal (I don't think there was a key though), but plenty of places have the bathroom located a short walk from the bar. I thought this was a worthy stop and would visit again for sure.“

“A hip brewery in downtown St. Paul. It was pretty packed when I visited and I believe they were also hosting some sort of event as well. “Interesting location - it is located in an old brewery that was abandoned years ago. Most of the factory is still rubble and untouched, but they are working to continue to fix it up. I was excited to come to this place because I was able to try a couple of growler of their infused porters in a trade, which were phenomenal. However, their regular beers are just ok. Certainly I would visit if one of these special beers is on tap. It might be worth 1 visit just to check out the location, but not really a place for repeat visits.“

“Huge space in an industrial suburb of St. Paul. 3 to 6 beers on tap, which is pretty slim pickings for most breweries but I do appreciate that they put a lot of care into what they brew. A solid NE IPA and a really nice house pale ale. The taproom is fucking freezing when it’s super cold out due to the massive, beautiful and super old windows. Bring your mittens.“

“Airport concourse/mall atmosphere, service was iffy (first time great, second layover I got served the wrong beer/food but when noted it was quickly rectified). As mentioned great local line up of taps from Minnesota (variety of breweries/styles though quality can be hit or miss) and the 12$ flight was a good deal (15$ if you include one of the pricier/rarer brews marked by a *). All in all a great airport stopover with decent burgers and prices.“
