“Giant place out in the middle of nowhere. You have to drive on a gravel road to get there, but it is so worth it. Two big red barns sitting on 80 acres. One barn has the taproom and the other houses all the brewing equipment. Free tours available upon request. The taproom has ample seating inside and out. Food consists of pizza (had one, very good) and pretzels (didn't try). The outside seating has really pretty views. Two people working that day; both could not have been nicer. About 16 taps; all from Piney River. Just about every style is represented and all 5 beers I had were good. Piney River makes good stuff, I have been putting people on to them for years. If you are anywhere close to Bucyrus MO visiting this place is a no-brainer. I believe it is even worth a trip; roughly 3 hours from St. Louis and lots of outdoorsy things to do in the area. They even have a B&B (bed and brewery) for rent if people want to stay on premises.“

“I can say I made it to the brewery. Out in the middle of nowhere. There was a birthday party going on, so pretty much all locals, and they were nice as could be. Plus, there was a special food trailer there, so the food was awesome and decently priced. We sat and enjoyed about five of their beers, all were really good. 12 of their own on tap. If you are going, plan for an all day event, way out in the middle of nothing, but well worth the trip.“

“Okay Can’t really say I have been to this brewery but I will rate this as I had recently had a sampling session of this brand. This was unique as it was held on Ft Leonardwood and it was the owner Brian serving his selection. Very decent beers and I think he is vastly underated as this brewery is just getting started. Owner is very knowledgable and friendly and is trying somethings that others really don’t. For instance mixing walnuts into his wheat beer mash and not using the standard black patent malt in his porter. Instead using a mix of brown and chocolate malts to make his porter. Very tasty and offering his beers in pint cans making it more accessible for outings. Overall give this local missouri brewery a shot you may be surprised.“
