“Very close to the airport, so very convenient for a first stop after landing or last stop before leaving. A dozen beers or so on tap - flights of 4 available for $6.50. Super friendly service. Veggie and a vegan option available for food. Beer quality was definitely quite good. I’d recommend a stop.“

“Nice looking place, all dark wood and brass. Smallish, intimate with 8 regular taps and 4 seasonal, all theirs. Many different styles; I've been here several times and never had anything that wasn't good. They do have a full menu but I didn't eat while I was there.“

“Visited late afternoon on a Wednesday. Old building located in downtown Ferguson. Parking is in lot on site, or in public parking lots in the general area. The interior has a big U shaped bar, with restaurant tables and booths spread around. Beer selection was 9 house beers as well as 15 or so guests. Beers are available as full pours, flights or taster pours. Food menu looked and smelled good, though I didn’t eat. Service was efficient. Crowd was happy and local.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“February 16, 2013. This establishment was crowded and Holly, the server, was very friendly and courteous. The environment appeared clean and it is well lit. I had four samples which is about 5oz. each. The beers I had were average. The Flatbread pizza was very tasty and I would suggest ordering. The price is very reasonable and it is a lot of pizza for one person.“

“A bit of an older brewpub with a central bar surrounded by seating. Bartender was very friendly but not too knowledgeable about the beer. There were 12 beers available on my visit with samplers of 6 working out perfectly. The food was a bit disappointing but the prices were nice. Not a bad stop near the airport.“

“Been wanting to come here for a while but almost never get up to N St. Louis county anymore. Walking in to the establishment is kind a like walking into an Applebee’s. Round bar in the middle with seating in table and booths all around. The tap selection is 15 of their own beers and all are at least above par. The prices are a good value at the odd price of $4.35 a pint. I did not have food but it looked like your average burger and pub food. Not a place that’s going to wow you but one of the few places in north county that is beer worthy. North city and some of north county can be a bit dodgy but downtown Ferguson has a kind of cute old town feel to it.“

“This is located fairly close to the airport and has a bunch of beers on tap (~12 during my visit). Quality was ok, as was service. They close pretty early which is kind of a bummer.“

“Visited here as a part of a 9-brewery weekend tour of the St. Louis beer scene. We tried all 12 beers that were on tap when we visited. Most beers were average. The atmosphere was a typical brewpub/grill. Maybe worth checking out if you are near the airport, but I would recommend a number of other places over Ferguson. This was the 7th best brewery in our 9-brewery weekend.“

“Stopped in due to Ferguson Brewing closing early. It is more of a wine bar, but did have a decent sleection of beers. A little disapointed they were out of Ferguson beers. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgable with the beers they had. Had been wanting to stop in, and will return after the holidays. “

“A local brew pub in a beautifully restored building. Interior was open and rustic. Food was excellent and an ample selection of top notch beers on tap. Service was good and the prices are reasonable. The place is usually busy so parking is a bit scarce. Will be going back soon!“

“First time here, looks like a pretty cool place. 13 of their own beers plus one Schlafly on tap. Good variety and quality of beers. Food menu looks pretty decent too.“

“First stop on my tour of breweries in STL. I had tried a few of there beers at the Augusta beer fest, so I thought I would give them a try. Good beer, great food. Great service. I went with a group of 7 buddies and we got in right away. Everyone loved the food. Good selection of foods. Fast, friendly service. Beer was great. They do flights, so you can try 4 beers at once. They had 10 beers on tap the day I went. Good price and location. Will be going back when I am in STL again.“

“Cool rehab’d old building in an exciting revitalized "main street" section of town, complete with ethnic restaurants, coffee shop, wine store, bicycle shop, urban farmer’s market, etc. Relaxed, casual public house feel, much less swanky than Goose Island in Chicago or the Blackstone in Nashville, for instance. Larger than expected beer list, clearly named and explained. Good menu and better prices. Waitress was very helpful and attentive. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the sampler flight only included four beers, but I was thankful, at least, that I could pick which four. They’re so cheap that my friend ordered a different four and we both tried all eight. Paired nicely with their mini pulled pork sandwiches. Informative and easy-to-use website, complete with coupons and a mailing list. Overall, very cool and laid-back, and as such, one of my favorite St. Louis beer places.“

“This is a fairly new brew-house that has been open a little over a year. There are about 15 beers on tap, 8-10 regular beers with a couple of seasonal / specials on tap. There is usually a local beer on tap from one of the other breweries in St. Louis. They also stock other Missouri made beers in bottles as well as Missouri wines. The beers a quite good across the board with no real clunkers. The staff is very friendly and service is reliable, although it can get a bit hectic when they get busy. The pub menu is quite good along with some daily specials. My favorites are the St. Louis Pale Ale and the IPA.“

“great place and some very good beers. Food is okay and service can be slow at times. But the good beer is what it’s all about. Great place to hang out and drink some beers!!!!!!!!!!“

“Ferguson Brewing, which used to be known as Hill Brewing, is along Florissant in the ’downtown’ area of Ferguson. The place is big and inviting, with a big central bar downstairs, the selections on big chalkboards, and a large and friendly staff. There is an upstairs area, too, which features games and other diversions- trivia nights on Saturday, stuff like that. There are surprisingly many things on tap; I think there were about 15 when we visited. It seemed like they had 10 regulars, 2 seasonals, and 3 listed under ’new’ beers. My only complaint is that with all these beers currently on tap, beer flights consisted of only 4 samples- they could stand to use smaller glasses and at least double that. The glasses may have been 6 oz. or so in the sampler. The food is pretty good- we got chili and chicken tenders and both were above average for pub fare. Some of the furniture and fixtures are a little dated but otherwise the inside is pretty cool. The prices were fair- for two small meals, a beer flight, and a seasonal pint, we paid about $27. Pretty good brewpub overall and I’ll be back sometime- too bad I almost never make it up to North County, though.“

“Cork Wine Bar is a new place up on Florissant Road in Ferguson, just across the street from Ferguson Brewing. The decor is modern, with a wine bottle chandelier, bright green art-covered walls, and dark wood and metal fixtures. The place is well-staffed and they’re pretty friendly for the most part. We split a pretty good dessert and my fiancee ordered a wine flight, which instead of a few tasting glasses consisted of three large glasses filled generously for a flight. They have four taps, which at any time are Odell, Sierra Nevada, Woodchuck Cider, and a Bell’s rotator- when we were there they were getting ready to replace Winter White with Hopslam. The bottle selection isn’t huge but has a decent range. Chances are you’ll find something to hit the spot but won’t be wowed by variety. Nice place and a cool place to go for a nightcap or drinks and dessert after stopping in Ferguson Brewing.“

“Hill Brewing is a welcome addition to the No. County area, and specifically to Ferguson. I’ve been 5 or 6 times since they opened and I’m quite impressed. I like the pale ale best of their brews. They also carry a lot of the beers (bottles) made in Missouri. They also have a great menu, I like the pulled pork sandwich and the mini burgers. I will return on a regular basis.“

“late Friday afternoon visit- it was just starting to get busy. Interior with comfortable wood. Broad selection of their own beers, plus select local microbrews. Fairly typical brewpub menu, but what I had was tasty. Friendly staff.“

“July 2010. Visited on a weekend afternoon for lunch. Apparently, Ray Hill is no longer associated with this place, but oddly it’s still holding his name. Expecting something pretty good, I must say I was let down. Our food was good enough for a standard American eatery. But the lackluster beers, which were oddly all the exact same color, and the less than beer-rific service ("heffen-wise-en"), made this a less than rememberable stop in my beer travels. OK, and not bad, per se, but yet another cookie-cutter brewpub with no passion for beer. (Brewery #518)“

“This brewpub is a week and a half old and is loosely associated with Ray Hill of the AB Pilsner fame. It is a cool and trendy place and is pretty typical of newer brewpubs. They offer 10 of their beers on tap. I did not check if other beers were available. I had a hefe and an IPA which were both tasty and unique. Food was good and plentiful. My only complaint would be with the noise level which was excessive even with no music being played. I would definitely recommend Hill Brewing and will return. Additional note: this brewpub is changing its name to the Ferguson Brewery.“
