“Made a quick, unplanned drop-in visit at midday on a Sunday. The place was packed, with a long wait for tables, which I'd take as a positive sign. I was able to get a quick seat at the bar and pick one of the five beers they had to offer. It was OK, ordinary. The bartender was friendly enough. Not impressed with the offerings, but will go back given the opportunity to be in the area. Brewery #881.“

“What a great place. Their beers are inventive and constantly rotating. Remember this place they are getting better all the time.“

“Visited on Sunday morning, June 2018. We were the first customers. Very nice interior. 8 beers on tap - 8 different styles, available in flights. I liked the DIPA and the stout a lot. Food was very good too. I had a great burger. Excellent service, very friendly. Hope I will be able to visit the place again in the future.“

“Visited at opening on a Sunday (11 a.m.). Great service. Food was very good, with a nice range of choices. Eight of their beers on tap. Flight was available. Especially enjoyed the Missouri Brunch Stout. About 30 miles south of St. Louis. Was glad I took the time to visit and will visit again.“

“First stop on a Saturday afternoon. As we were parking, we noticed the back deck had a line of folks, maybe 20 to 30 waiting for their first bottle release. We went around the front of the brewery and sat inside, sampled five of their beers. By the time we were done, we went upstairs and were able to pick up one of their first release bottles, so not a bad strategy. The brewery has two floors with an out door balcony. Plenty of seating, both up and down stairs. The menu looked like a good selection of food items. In a historic part of downtown Festus, so kind of a neat setting. Well worth the stop, if in the area, check them out.“

“I have a soft place in my heart for small town brewpubs and especially ones located on Main street. This was situated on a corner in an old building that must have a history to it. This was a nice two story brewpub. I did not go upstairs. Oak paneling, brick, and some stucco walls. They have been in business for a couple of years. I think 9 of their beers are on tap and they offer a full, but small bar, too. Their clientele is small town and no doubt they have to tone things down to survive. Several session offering. I had to add most of the beers to RateBeer. I found their beers to be good if not outstanding. They were doing a couple of unique things which appeals to me. They have a full menu of food but I only had the nachos. Servers tended to be about 20 years old and female which maybe would indicate a less than knowledgeable staff. But I really didn’t ask. I wish this were nearer to me. It is over an hour drive which is too far to make a regular stop of. But it might mean that I get to add ticks! But i will be back.“
