“Visited late on a Sunday afternoon. Located in a new development just off of I-435 in the northwest corner of the metro area. Tons of parking. Bigger bar with nine bar stools, tables throughout and a great outdoor area with picnic tables opening up to the central lawn between the two buildings of the development. Beer selection is 10 house beers, 1 guest beer and 1 guest cider. Available as full, half or 5 oz pours. Crowlers, and Pale Ale cans available to go. Food is available from Whiskey River, which is connected to the brewery. Chill vibe, friendly service. (Locals should check it out, visitors who are in the area) I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Large place, big parking lot. Tons of coolers. Big selection, but singles are mixed in with four and six packs, which was a little odd. Still, they had interesting stuff I hadn’t found elsewhere. Friendly staff that didn’t stray from the registers. Worth a look. Thanks, RobertDale, for the ride!“

“Suburban stand-alone building location about 10-15 minutes from the KCI airport is surprisingly comfortable inside. Staff was laid back, friendly and helpful when I asked for assistance. Decent selection of regionals and a nice little mix-a-six section. Half the back wall is beer coolers but about 1/4 of it was filled with US and import macros. The value seemed reasonable to me, but I was quickly in and out of the KC area and this was my only beer stop.“

“Decent sized store with a pretty good selection. Perhaps the import section was lacking. Did have a large singles section. Store was clean, staff was friendly, and prices seemed in line. Not as large as Gomer’s Midtown and not as import heavy as Gomer’s Lees Summit.“

“Not bad for a liquor store, but I’ve seen better selection (even the hyvee 5 minutes down the road is comparable and the hyvee has better "value")“

“Good sized store with solid selection. Had some brews that I did not see at many of the KC stores. Good place to stop if in the area. Singles selection is lacking.“

“This place is OK but compared to Gomer’s in Lees Summit it sucks. The guy said they had the best selection out of all the Gomer’s, I guess what he meant was they had the most shitty beers and didn’t focus on quality. There are a few good things and prices are nice but go to Lees Summit for an amazing selection.“

“Stopped in with theisti after the 6th Annual Parkville Microbrew Fest. Solid selection although there were quite a few empty shelves/slots among the large format stuff. Like others have said, if you’re in the area, it’s worth stopping in to see what they might have in-stock. Any place that carries Third Coast Old Ale for $10 a sixer (about 4 or 5 bucks less than I’ve seen it anywhere) will automatically force me to stop in periodically.“

“Stopped by after the 2009 Parkville Microbrew Fest. Store is clean, and laid out nicely - clear sections for beer, wine and spirits. Much of the store is dedicated to beer, with shelving in two corners, and most of the back wall cooler filled with beers. As mentioned by others, the selection is good, most all of the locals, big Bells selection (TCOA for $9.99 a sixer!) and a good selection of Belgians. I did not notice singles or mix a six. If you are up by the airport, certainly worth checking this place out.“

“A nice split of beer, spirits, and wine. They carry some really nice beers, including high-end Bell’s and some low-end small-time US brewers, a nice variety of Belgians, and a good mix of cold brew. The good stuff is tough to come by, so get in right after re-strocking day! Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, a very nice place in the Northland! I had to re-rate based on some further experience with Gomer’s. Great staff, fair prices, and ROCHEFORT 10!“

“I always stop here when I’m returning from KC. The building is a stylized giant keg! Selection always has something you’ll like and they usually have some great sale prices on a few select items.“

“They have the best selection North of the River I have seen in KC. (Albeit with some dust on warm singles). If you stick with the coolers and specials you get good fresh beer value. Grab a shopping cart and stroll.“

“Still a decent store, but pales in comparison to the south side KC stores. Returned here a few times. Still the best on the northside that I have seen. A decent store that is worth checking out if you are in the area. A full selection of Unibroue and the locals like O Fallon. Surprisingly they also have Bell’s! A small, but decent selection of Belgians, British and German beers. More sake than I have seen in other nice beer stores.“
