“Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, not very crowded. Was able to talk with the brewer for quite a while. They had eight of their own beers on tap, so we sampled all eight. Nothing outstanding, but good overall. We did try the wood fired pizza, was pretty tasty. They have competition a couple of doors down, that’s where the crowd was hanging out. Otherwise, located in a neat part of town that is being revitalized. Plenty of seating either at the bar or a table. Worth a stop if in the area.“

“Been here several times, and just realized it was listed here on RB. Like the other review says, it is primarly a meat and sausage shop, with other assorted groceries (mostly local stuff and very good), including a deli to eat sandwiched there. The bottled beer selection (to go) is surprisingly pretty good. Lots of local - Charleville, Crown Valley, and from St. Louis, Schlafly. They have some North Coast selections, including Old Rasputin - and a mix of some other decent micros. Again, a surprisingly nice lieelt place to pick up some homemade sausage and good beer.“

“This is a cool little place in the sleepy town of Perryville an hour south of St Louis. This is primarily a meat and sausage store but there is a pretty good selection of micros and imports. Probably about 50 different six pack and about 15-20 bombers. The hours are a bit odd but again this is primarily a meat shop. Overall a cool place to pick up some local IPAs and elk sausage.“
