“We came looking for a brewpub about which there had been no recent news. We found a perfectly decent sports bar under new ownership that probably has the best beer list, FWIW, for many miles around. We noted plenty of Schlafly and New Belgium with appearances by Sierra Nevada, Deschutes, Stone and Boulevard. No doubt it changes fairly often. We didn’t eat, but the food looked fine and included fried rangoon with cheese and poblano. What I would’ve eaten, I guess. But it was mainly pizzas and burgers. Low prices akin to what you would hope to find away from the major cities. We were told that they might re-start the in-house brewing at some point, but in the meantime people living or traveling in the area (State Fair?) have an acceptable beery option. Oh, and there is a Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga arcade machine, fucking-A.“

“In an older building in downtown Sedalia. Best beer selection in the area and a huge wine selction. I was greeted at the door and offered assistance. The beer is all in the basement with probably 98 percent in the cooler. They offer the full line of BLVD Smokestack series and still had some of the Imperial Stout and Saison. The store also offers coffee, food, and cigars. WiFi is available. Just ask for the password.“

“Stopped in while in town for the MO State Fair and thought this was a nice little beer bar. They had three of their own brews on tap along with at least a couple dozen other bottled US micros. O’Dell and New Belgium regulars were well represented in bottles and they had all the regular Boulevard’s on tap. I am rating this place a little higher on selection due to the micros, not the brewpub beers. I tried all three of their brews on tap and they were served in frosted shaker glasses. Two of the beers were decent, like average home brew. The third was pretty flawed, probably infected. Looked to me like the entire brewing operation is ten gallon sized high end home brew equipment. Hey, at least they are making an effort and I am glad they have lots of good micros available as well. The prices were certainly reasonable.“

“For a small Missouri town the selection of beer is great. They have a huge selection of wine. The most in town. They also have a great selection of cigars for the cigar smoker. Service is great. The people there know their beer, wine and cigars. Food is decent. They have coffee and jucie drinks also. A great place in downtown Sedalia Missouri.“

“Visited on a Saturday night as I was driving through town. Located in "historic downtown Sedalia," this place reminded me of almost any bar that you’ll see in the "downtown" section of a small town. Not many people there, TVs tuned to NASCAR, and a little smokey. As for their selection, apparently they only have one "house" beer on tap, although I’m not sure the waitstaff is aware. When I sat down at the bar, I asked the bartender which of their beers did they have on tap. She said she wasn’t sure, and asked the other bartender who said, "Boulevard Dry Stout." She then asked him which of their beers, and he said, "I dunno. I wouldn’t touch the stuff." She gave me a look and I said that I didn’t care what it was, I’d have a glass. She insisted that I try a sample first in case I didn’t like it, so I agreed. The beer was good. Nothing great, but it was drinkable. So I ordered a pint for $3.50. The bartender chatted with me for the time I was there, and she was friendly enough. I might stop back again if I go through town with friends, but not someplace I’d go just for the beer and the atmosphere.“

“Went here earlier in the summer while at a friend’s wedding. This was the second stop on his last night out with the guys. The front room isn’t very impressive at all, but it gets progressively better as you head towards the bar. The selection was pretty impressive for being in such a small town. I tried New Belgium Sunshine Wheat, which I still have yet to find on tap anywhere else in the area, and their house summer lager. Their brew wasn’t too bad. Along the lines of Grolsch if I remember correctly.“
