“This is a very popular place in the U City Loop a couple doors east of Hop Cat. The menu is an expanded take on bar food and highly recommended. While they have a limited number of taps, something interesting is almost always available. You’ll get great service and knowledgeable suggestions if Mick is behind the bar.“

“Finally stopped in for a meal and a brew or two. Decent selection of local breweries, good choices of food, and a neat atmosphere of a vast collection of old toys. Worth a stop if in the area, as others have said, quite a few places along the strip to try several brews.“

“This Three Kings is a bit better than the one in west county however, very similar in presentation. I had a special buffalo chicken sandwich that was amazing. Tap list is always solid and rotates on a daily basis. Some of the patrons are somewhat less than to be desired. Overall a decent place if you are in the delmar loop and want some decent beers/food.“

“Love this Loop location. Has a great vibe with all the Wash U students. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The food selection is way more than just standard bar fare. Good selection of craft drafts. For the rarer beers, ask for the secret black book.“

“Pretty cool place in the Loop on Delmar. Has about 20 beers on tap and mostly good stuff. A lot of local stuff (which can be good!). It was a Deschutes tap takeover when we where there so a lot of that, which is good. It’s loud in this bar (which can be a bit annoying). Food was solid. Decent pub.“

“Been here a number of times. Sort of kitchy - much prefer places with a little homeyness to them. But good food overall.“

“Nice little place on the Loop. Kind of loud, especially by the bar, but nice atmosphere otherwise. Food menu is pretty diverse and seems reasonably priced, good quality too. Beer menu isn’t bad - about 20 on tap plus maybe 30 boittles or so. Fair variety, with some relatively rare ones. Very good beer prices.“

“Dropped by on a Monday holiday afternoon, not very crowded. Our server was very knowledgeable about all of their beers, which was good. They had run out of a few taps from the day before, but were slowly restocking as the afternoon went on. Tried the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter and the Avery Ellies Brown, both fresh taps and very decent. Definitely will visit again.“

“A very cool rock-and-roll themed restaurant, sort of the nucleus of awesome, eclectic U-City Loop rehabilited area. A true St. Louis landmark. As such, the place is always crowded, busy, and can have a long wait, but that just comes with the territory. Knowledgeable bartenders, good selection of taps and bottles, usually a few somewhat obscure and/or seasonal offerings.“

“Three Kings is a new bar/restaurant in the heart of the Loop on Delmar, right across the street from The Tivoli’s parking lot. There are some tables out front on the sidewalk and in a courtyard around the side. The inside is clean and hip, with lots of booth seating. The service was a little slow on a crowded weekend evening but overall not bad. Food is a little bit above average with a few interesting items that might not be found on a typical pub menu. Strong beer list compared to similar places in the area: 4 Boulevard, 4 Schlafly, 4 Avery, and the rest are a mix of local and American craft and a few macros. 15 bottles, mostly macros, but a few nice ones. The tap list had a few surprises, like Schlafly Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout in the middle of August, Blvd/Deschutes Collaboration White IPA, and a few things like that. Worth a visit if you’re in the Loop; Cicero’s has more beer and Blueberry Hill has the name, but this place has great variety in 20 taps.“

“Small selection but good choices, excellent coffee and sandwich and cakes selection. This is a great place to stop by for a casual chat with some decent drinks for an eclectic crowd. The neighborhood is old and distinguished, big storefront window, lots of light, and comfy chairs in the upper level. Good, small, artsy fartsy, student’s restaurant and pub.“

“Known for the atmosphere and burgers. A fun place to go in a fun area of town. Very busy on weekends. Wide range of patrons, from hipsters to locals to tourists to college kids to families. The Duck Room is a great place to watch a show, and Chuck Berry still plays once a month. Decent beer selection- BMC and Euro standards, Schlafly, O’Fallon, Lagunitas, other American micros, and some Belgians.“

“A well-known place in St. Louis, where famous people sometimes show up suddenly or secretly. The food is your somewhat typical burger-related food, but the beer selection is surprisingly huge. A+ for the beer selection (and the hope I see someone famous there someday!).“

“Great food and service. Beer selection was a little weak, but the food made up for it. Great menu and food selection. Can get busy.“

“A St. Louis institution. Decent selection, but the service is very slow even on week days. But it has lots of memorabilia to look at and great burgers. Beer selection is strong, but nothing too original.“

“This place is pretty darn cool. There is generally some interesting band playing in the Duck Room (basement area that is a pit and has a toned-down selection of beers... last time I got some Bells and a Rogue Dead Guy in bottles when I saw a show there.) The main floor is a mainstay in St. Louis and they have lots of stuff on tap or in bottle. Burgers are great. Worth visiting.“

“Its an interesting and somewhat historic kind of place. Food is just your typical tourist kind of place and beer list is usual restaurant kind. If there was a band or something really interesting to see it would be nice.“

“I’ve been to this restuarant/bar/club at least 60 times over the last ten years, mainly to see touring bands or business lunches. For the traveler, because Blueberry Hill was featured on the Food Network, often come here for the famous hamburgers and music memorabilia that fills the restuarant. I have to admit, I don’t understand the appeal of the burgers, I have had much better burgers at other joints in St. Louis, but the fries, onion rings and other side dishes are excellent. For a place famous nationwide for it’s hamburgers, they are bland tasting. They are large, with large chunks of cheese, but seasoned poorly. The beer selection is average restuarant fare and I stick with local brewers like Schlafly’s. When busy at night, usually very busy on the weekends, service breaks down, food is served cold and its hard to get a beer when seated at a table. At night, the crowd is a mixture of locals, college kids and tourists. When a good band is playing in one of the music rooms, I would not recommend eating here before the show because of poor service. Lunch during the week is best time to come here, Service and food are better when they are serving the local business crowd. The Food Network often features Blueberry Hill on it’s "Best Of" programs, but I would advise the traveler to be wary. Check out Vintage Vinyl if you like to shop cd/record stores.“

“A pretty cool place to socialize, though true beer geeks will be annoyed by the smoke and darkness. The walls are littered with rock’nroll and yesteryear deco, dead animals, guitars, lunchboxes, etc. The booths lend lots of privacy, and live music is found very often, with Chuck Berry himself taking the stage once a month. Other acts tend to be fairly big, such as Gavin Rossdale (formerly of Bush) and other such acts filling The Duckroom. Beer selection caters to nearly everyone, ranging from macros to micros to Belgians. Food is above average, and is quite award-winning in the St. Louis area. Usually crowded, being part of the St. Louis "Loop" and all. A stone’s throw from Cicero’s and worth stopping by just fo the experience. Crowd tends to be mostly college kids, but can vary wildly depending on musical acts.“
