“Swung by for eisbock release a beer I wanted for a few years. Cool industrial park and exterior, inside looks under construction but don’t think it is. Very friendly staff and release run wonderfully although wasn’t all that busy. Opened doors early due to frigid temps and decided to serve normal beers and let people drink whatever they had. Some local place served pulled pork, chowder and ribs in brewery which was very nice kn this oh so appropriate eisbock day. Beers are decent with 6 drafts for sale and eisbock growlers separate and everyone there got quota no issues. Great time“

“One of the best tours I’ve been on. The staff is knowledgeable, always willing to answer questions and explain things. The pride that Greg and his crew have for Ramstein shows in everything they do here. I’m a huge fan of their traditional German beers, but they’ll also make you like wheat beer, that’s for sure!“

“Nice place, 19th century industrial park atmosphere (lots of red brick and hand trucks. This is a brewery mainly but they have a bar and tasting room and they fill growlers of their beer (which I enjoyed). Friendly, informal, worth a visit.“

“Nice brewery whose products seem harder and harder to find in most of NJ. They offer a brewery tour once a month where you can buy some of their beers including ones you usually don’t see in stores. A bit out of the way, but worth checking out if you can make it when they are open.“

“Finally made it to the once per month Saturday open house today. The place is great (it’s a working brewery of course...with no real customer area), and the staff even better. The open house was run very well. I got tickets on the way in for 2 free samples which were served in the entry room. Then inside was a special area just for filling growlers. Then another area was setup in the back of the brewery where you could buy glasses of beer. All of this was going on with German music playing of course. High Point...in case you didn’t already know...makes some of the best German beers in the US & has been doing it longer than any other US craftbrewer. Although German beers are not my favorite style...I can still appreciate the quality of High Point’s products & these are great. I especially liked their new Imperial Pilsner which was a very different style for them. This beer was higher alcohol and higher IBU’s than anything they’d previously made...a very enjoyable beer for a hophead like me! I recommend a visit here...especially if you love German beers.“

“Brewery that does growler fills. Beer is great - some of the best German style beers in the states. Probably a good idea to bring your own growlers - they were out when I was there but they hooked me up with a plastic jug they had anyway.“

“Stopped in here one afternoon on the way up to New England, and besides putting up with another customer filling his growler for a Yankee’s game, had a great time. The beer selection was limited to about 4 different taps, but each was fairly good quality, the helles hefeweizen their best, imo. Both the brewer and wife were incredibly friendly and helpful. Got a quick penny tour of the facility too. Definitely a great mom and pop place to stop by if you’re in the area (and industrial complex, a little tricky to find, so bring along their phone number).“

“stopped by on a weekday early evening. Brewery set in an old brick industrial park. Met Greg one of the owners/brewer. Offered samples and seemed like to talk beer. The blonde on tap was fantastic, very fresh and enjoyed it more than I did in the bottle. Picked up a growler of their Oktoberfest which was also very good. Will go back for more fresh beer.“

“Nice place. Industrial style, always ready to stop and chat, give you a taste, or fill a growler. They have nice glassware, made by Rastal in Germany.“

“Its a a brewery for chrissake! Yes there is food at some of the open houses. And you can pick up proper glassware for the lagers and weissbeers. Growler fills for standard beers are cheap (5 bucks). You can also buy Growlers and T shirts. Tours available second Saturday of every month (open house, call first to be sure).“
