“Strip mall off Route 10, doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside it is a fun spot with a cool aesthetic to it. Lots of flower and plants, different from the typical Edison bulbs. Good crowd for a Sunday afternoon when I went. 8 beers on draft, with a nice mix of styles. Patios on the front and back. Definitely worth a visit, and the beers a dialed in nicely for a newer spot.“

“I can’t believe I’m the first rating for this place. They’ve been around since the ’50’s or so...but of course they really only put their craftbeer hat on in the last 2 years. Hoover’s is a great neighborhood bar with a lot of history...and that history used to be somewhat notorious as a biker bar. It’s calmed down quite a bit since then...and a few years ago the owner started expanding their tap selections beyond macros. At the moment they have 7-8 craftbeers on tap...but the best part is they usually make the best use of those taps...featuring great local and regional offerings as well as some great national craft beers (Stone, Ballast Point, Lagunitas, etc.). This place has character and great people...owners, staff, and for the most part...customers. They play good music and have great but simple bar food...hot dogs, bar pies, large hot pretzels...and every configuration of packaged snack food (there’s a 7-11 across the street if you need something they don’t have...lol!). I highly recommend a visit here...and don’t be shy...strike up a conversation or two...but be respectful of those that have been coming here a lot longer than you.“

“Decent enough representation of the chain’s offering. I go here mostly because they are my closest discount beer/wine store...not because they are my best choice...not to say there is anything wrong with this place...just not a place to drive any distance too (unlike my favorite craftbeer place in Boonton...which clearly is worth the drive). Again...best choice in the area...but as a discount liquor venue...should be more like Total Wine...which is mostly in the MD-DC-VA area“

“Visited during a recent trip to NJ. A big, noisy warehouse style place. Very good craft beer section with lots in the coolers and on shelves. Good selection of regional and national brews. Prices seem OK. They also had an impressive selection of cheeses, cured meats and snacks.“

“Large warehouse style store. Larger wine selection than beer, but definitely had a craft beer area. Not the largest beer selection at all, but better than most other places in the area.“
