“a small bar really unassuming with tv, some music and chairs and space out in front of the bar . The beers are really quite good and the people are friendly and nice. The brewery operation is all around. there were 5 brews on tap.“

“Stopped by here on a whim. Pretty far from the main area but usually serviced by two guys. Literally a warehouse with a renovated bar for drinking. Bar counter, a bunch of standing tables, and a couch. Clean and well kept with rock music, etc. in the background. The staff are probably some of the friendliest I’ve met and may not make the best beers but they do love it and are glad to be a local brewery. There’s no food but if you’re hungry, feel free to order a pizza or delivery. They don’t mind at all. If you live in the area, it’s well worth a visit.“

“Visited on a Saturday afternoon. First off, t people who work here are very friendly, as are the regular customers. Really enjoyed it from that perspective. Warehouse down an alley, quite dark inside due to a dearth of windows. As for the beer, they had their 4 standards that you can find around town plus the Wee Heavy on my visit. Additionally, they had a dry hopped version of the Wee Heavy on too, which I enjoyed more than the standard version. Small area with seating to hang out. Good prices. Growlers and 6 packs / cases available to go. Solid brewery and worth a visit just because the people are so nice, but not a destination tasting room.“

“I’d been putting this visit off for awhile for two reasons. First...it was in my backyard...so it was always something I’d get to. Second...the 2-3 beers I’d previously had in bottles...while not bad...seemed undistinguished...and uninspired. Two things changed...I was running out of NJ beer places to visit & review...lol...and I tried their LBIPA this summer. This new beer was actually quite good and got me realizing it was time to visit. I spent a few hours there on a recent Saturday afternoon...and I have to tell you...my opinion of NJ Beer has changed for the better. First...the people there are very nice...and I had the chance to talk to them for awhile...including one of the owners...and I took the brewery tour. Both raised my appreciation for how far they have come. But most important...I tried some of their new beers or beers they don’t usually bottle...and was very impressed (enough to suggest they will do well if they continue to improve as I’ve seen). The tasting area is small and a bit quirky (which I like)...also the place can bit a little hard to find once you get within a few blocks...just circle the block...you’ll find it...and it’s worth the effort!“
