“Ambiance is a bit cluttered, more of a casual feel. Not something you'd go to if you're trying to impress someone, but a great place to have a casual drink and dinner. Service has always been pretty decent here. I wouldn't rave about it, but have never had issues. Selection of beer is some of the best in the area, there's always a few good beers to come drink. The food has been better than average. I absolutely love some of their menu items and had one of the best burgers of my life here. Sweet potato fries are not good here though. Beer prices sometimes are pricier than I feel that they should be, but the food prices are well worth it in my experience. If I'm going out to eat I always check the taplist here first. It's well worth the visit.“

“Been here a few times and rom what I understand the beer selection has only improved. Dimly lit-restaurant/bar ambiance with a ton of drafts including some local craft selections (i.e. Carton and Kane) from time to time as well as other standard craft culprits.“

Ambiance: Very tastefully done bar/restaurant. Bar is a bit small, as is the site itself, but it has a nice look to it.
Service: Service was decent, neither overly friendly or rude.
Selection: Tap list was a bit small, but a decently curated list.
Value: Prices were a bit high, not going to break the bank, but not somewhere to eat every day.
Overall: A decent place with a nice vibe. Tries to lean upscale a bit, but doesn’t fully hit the mark to me. Decent place.“

“Surprisingly busy for a weekday afternoon, comfy atmospherics (I’d call it Shore-style-meets-faux-Irish-Pub) and safe location with easy parking. Great bartender and good bar setups, about twenty taps ranging from local introductory beers to slightly rarer regionals, all craft beer and probably something you will enjoy. Very pleased at the sheer amount of conversations I overheard talking about product, styles, upcoming beer events, and everyone welcoming and having a good time. Best part was the food -- simple barfood pork nachos hit every part of my palate and stuffed me to the point I thought I’d have to be rolled out through the door; worst part was the overpriced (albeit large) bottle menu ... it’s really nice to see some of the Goose Island ’sisters’, for example, but they’re probably still there for a reason, and something as ubiquitous as Orval shouldn’t be that much even at normal bar markup.

Overall, I think it has a chance of becoming something of a destination on this side of the river, I’ll happily return.“

“Even though this place is pretty big and there’s an overflow bar upstairs, it was jam packed when I was there on a Saturday night at 6 PM. Servers were a bit stretched. Food was good. Draft list was just OK, and although there are a few visible bottle behind the bar, there is a huge printed bottle list, so be sure to check it out.“

“Terrific Eats, best Burgers and appetizers around, can’t find a homemade pierogi at many bars, but this place makes a good one. Excellent bar and wait staff, always friendly and attentive, informative as well. This place can pack em in on the weekends, because many know its just that good.“

“This place is the best in south Jersey for beer selection and atmosphere. There are always interesting beers on tap and they have a pretty decent bottle selection. The food menu is a bit limited, but what they serve is well above average quality. If I can't make it into Philly, this is my number one spot.“

“Went to pourhouse for a late lunch. The place has an industrial feel, brick walls, exposed pipes, but it works. THE MUSIC IS GREAT and the service was very timely. The food is good but the selection is limited, mainly burgers. I wish i went on a wendsday for 1$ oysters... Prices were reasonable and beer specials were ok, big tap selection.. Overall it felt like eating and drinking in a Liquor Store“

“This is my go-to craft beer bar in the Philly area outside of Philly itself. Great selection of bottles and taps - all of which rotate constantly. The tap system is always kept clean so you don’t get the off flavors that are all too common at similar places. The bartending staff is nothing short of rockstar quality. They know their beers and after just a couple of visits they’ll know your favorite styles too. I’m always greeted with news of the latest additions as soon as I sit down. The menu is narrow but classic and very tasty. Maybe the only South Jersey craft beer bar that would succeed as is in Center City Philly.“

“They have 20 taps that rotate rather frequently and a pretty extensive bottle list of around 150-200 beers. The service is pretty good and the food was much better than expected. This place is owned by PJ Whelihans so if you know the food there then this place is mostly the same. Slightly overpriced but it is a restaurant so thats to be expected. Worth a visit if you are in the area and want to try and find some rarer beers or good locals.“

“A great place in an area with nothing like it around. I talked with the owner and management and as good as it is now, I see great things on the horizon for beer lovers. The staff doesn’t just sell and serve beer, they also love it, and their passion and knowledge shows. From the bartenders to the management, there is a true love of brew. The menu of beers is growing and the food is some of the best around. Their chef has award winning skills and food ranges from simple to elegant. Pizza and burgers are on the menu, but not just plain jane pizzas, duck pizza is one of the finer ones there. You can also have a fine elegant dinner, or just relax with other like minded people at the bar and enjoy the bar menu. I am glad that the word isn’t out yet on Cork as I am glad to have it to myself, but I see crowds in the near future as I dont see this place being a secret for long. 4 stars for sure.“
