“Visit Date: 10/14/2018 Nice spot with a big grassy area that you walk through to get to the brewery. Nice looking indoor tap room where you go to get the beers. Nice patio with Adirondack chairs, plus a huge grass area with some tables and open space. Lots of kids and dogs running around on a sunny, temperate fall afternoon. Pretty good beers and great atmosphere here. “

“Farm. Brewery. Gorgeous sunny Friday afternoon, and a whole pile (50+?) of people outside. Not as many indoors, though the space seats at least 30 or so, and room for another 10+ around the bar. People are in and out the door regularly as this is where the ten taps are, but mostly they’re grabbing pints (and the occasional flight) before heading back out into the lovely late afternoon sunshine. Flights are $8 for 4, and pints are in the 6-7 range. Styles included a triptych of IPA filled out with an assortment that featured a rauchbier, brown, porter, rye lager, pale, kolsch. Everyone seemed super happy and friendly, both service staff and patrons. Corked and caged bottles of two of their tap offerings were available as well. Brew system is visible behind some glass near the bar, and the set up and everything else in here looks clean, new, loved and well cared for. Food menu looks really nice, and everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked excellent. Prices on food seem a touch higher than I’d want, which I guess they get away with being farm to table. No bad beers here, even if none of the ten bowled me over. They were all quite solid, and all things I would have enjoyed more of. Very much worth a trip out here, even if just for the space and the sunshine in the field, but the beer is tasty as well. “

“Very attractive country brewery growing some of their own hops. Arrowood is a really nice excuse for a country drive. The building is very nicely designed and appointed with generous uses of wood detail. There is an attractive bar along with tables to sit at...but best of all (weather permitting) there are the outdoor tables & chairs. The beers vary from good to better...nothing showed signs of greatness at this point...but they are new and I always return to places I like for another review of the beers...maybe 6-9 months later. I’ve had many surprises that way (as well as unfortunately a number of places that did not get better). We were treated well during our visit...got to look inside their cold case and temp controlled fermenting room. The have a variety of nice snacks and light fare that I recommend...all locally sourced.“
