“What a selection. Tons of new stuff for me which is hard these days and lots I left on the shelves. I easily dropped 4 bills. Sip of Sunshine, tons of other stuff and a growler fill station. I would be in serious trouble if this was in my neighborhood. 2 Beer guys eager to give me help as well ...“

“A solid store, not sure it is more interesting than Half Time or the lines, certainly the selection is smaller, but lots and lots of uality offerings and mostly in fridges versus the high likelihood of falling upon a past its due date ale at Half Time. The grocery itself also seems like a nice operation with its tight, filled up and busy aisles. Plenty of gems there, so a great stop on the way back North from the Big Apple. Not cheap, though.“

“Not as big or fancy as brewster yet totally satisfactory experience. Rep knew the bottles what was fresh and labelled almost all accordingly. Kept supplying me with great samples while worked through vg draft list. What fun. “

“Grocery store with a monster beer selection. Well curated. Specialty beers from Evil Twin and Captain Lawrence that can only be bought at DeCicco. A must visit. Same with Brewster.“

“Wow I could have sworn I rated this before. Anyway this is one my favorite places to stop when in NY. Place is kind of like an italian Whole Foods in a way that it is a high end grocery store. Has a nice buffet and salad bar, but what makes this place special is that it has one of the better beer selections I found across the country. Usually have some really solid beers available in growlers and a few jewels from Cigar City, Founders, Goose Island, and an eclectic selection of imports. Definitely worth a stop if you are up around Westchester County.“

“Wide selection of bombers, growler fills, singles and packs..hard to imagine a store with a better selection of rare offerings crammed into such a tight space..had ample supply of goose island bcs..prices were pretty good..but hey one has to expect pretty high prices for limited supply offerings..heard a few people complain about wait time at growler fill station while I was there..Wasn’t asked for help but the beer guy might have been out..a worthy destination..interested to see how other locations compare..“

“Stopped by on our way to Captain Lawrence today and was surprised to find this top rated spot in a far back corner of an upscale suburban market. But jeez, well worth the small detour. They have a different selection from what you normally see in the city. There are more rarities and better representation from notable breweries. The "beer guy" was present and was obviously a beer lover. Go prepared to spend a lot even though the prices are pretty good. It will be very easy with their choices.“

“Supermarket feel in suburban New York. Beer in the back, groceries everywhere else, cheese stand right there. Awesome selection, on tap locals plus bottles from all over, some secrets still tucked way near the back of a shelf, turnover isn’t the fastest. Help from the beer guy, very fair prices on some stuff (Belgian standards), prices higher on others. Will stop here whenever in the area.“

“This is a supermarket, complete w/ deli, bakery, grocery and a ’beer section’ that has several draft options which they will fill in 32oz and 64oz gorwlers. They do not counter-pressure fill. You can not sample the beers. The ’value’ would be higher if they would have the same prices at this location as they do at the Pelham location of DeCicco’s (where there is a much smaller selection and no growler fill option). They have most everything that becomes available in the area.“

“Had my second visit to De Cicco’s yesterday to pick up some Sixpoint and Narragansett cans while we’re up in the area. The first thing I went to was the growler station. I’d gotten a few of these in trades in the past, but never actually seen the selection myself. There were a few different beers from Captain Lawrence as well as an interesting hoppy beer from Sixpoint. The setup is pretty nice, with a guy sitting behind the counter ready to fill growlers. He was extremely fast filling the growler and while I didn’t have any questions about their beers available for growler fills or anything else in the shop, I get the feeling that I would have had available help if that were the case. Selection was pretty nice. If it weren’t for the growler station, I’d have this at more of a 4.0, but having that number of available (and often relatively obscure) beers right there for either 32oz or 64oz growler fills was very, very nice. Other than that, pretty good import selection with a nice selection of Belgian stuff. Quite a few available lambics and gueuzes, which is always a plus. Overall, definitely a place that I will frequent whenever I am up in the area.“

“Tons of bottles (the biggest selection in NY actually), a few taps (which are all properly and regularly maintained) and tons of cheese, with many varieties available to sample. The dude who orders the beer is a certified beer geek. He knows whats up, and that’s why every ipa in the store is ordered as fresh as possible and are always refrigerated. Also, all the beers are tucked away in the back of the market so no sunlight will ever strike these bottles. The shitty macro lagers are not on display as are the rarities and micros. You can buy growlers and sample everything on tap. Be warned, you’ll spend a lot of money here.“

“One of the best places to buy beer I have ever seen. Beautiful supermarket, akin to Whole Foods but nicer. Awesome selection. They pack a lot into what seems like a small space. Lots of hard to find stuff. Prices were reasonable, on par or maybe a little lower than many other places. Some items were overpriced, though. The growler station is excellent, about 10 taps, nice and clean, like the rest of the store. Good place to get something to eat also. I wish Iived nearer to this place.“

“Flat out rocks. You have zero excuse to skip out on this place if you’re anywhere nearby. Selection of great locals and hard to find domestic and imported craft stuff, check. Growler fills of great brews with free samples, check. A bounty of outstanding quality shelved and prepared foods of all types, check. But above all is the service and attention paid to their customers. Chris and Joe were both very hospitable and gracious in every way. These guys went way above and beyond to exceed my ( and my boys who were there) expectations and they have earned a loyal customer for a long time. Hats off to the DeCicco family for this gem. And by the way, the prices on most things are very competitive. I have full confidence that I’m getting value for my dollar at this benchmark of a beer store. These guys should train others on the craft.“

“Stopped in here on the way to NJ after a release at Captain Lawrence. Interestingly, the first thing I saw when I walked in was the CL Birra DeCicco. First impression is that this is like a smaller Whole Foods, complete with the hot food bar. Made my way to what looked like a small area full of beer, but man was it full. They cram more variety into that area than some stores do in their whole space. 8 things on tap, including some one-off locals. Prices seem a touch high, but there’s a lot of stuff here that can’t be found very easily. The fact that there was a blue cheese tasting while I was there? Excellent. Out of the way for my normal travels, but next time I go CL to NJ, I’ll probably stop in again.“

“A beer lovers Utopia! This place has a great selection of brew! The best in the area! The store was a little tricky to find but my beergut led the way! Great food selection also. Lots of Cheese! And they will sell you a growler of Captain Lawrence Imperial if you need that fix and it’s not Friday or Saturday. Friendly service and the prices are not that bad. My new party supply outlet! Bewwwwwp!“

“Nice place. Good selection of beer. Not outstanding. Had trouble finding many 22s of Imperial Stout. I’m stuck in Tarrytown for a month and this will be my place for the time. Picked up a Southern Tier Chocklat, Rogue Chipotle, Sly Fox 113 IPA, and Alesmith Wee Heavy yesterday. They are having a Sly Fox tasting on Sat, June 7th. Also some nice-looking foodstuffs. Clean and only a little expensive. Talked to one of the beer buyers who offered to get me whatever I’m looking for if he can. Also, someone else helped me in the store and told me that Southampton IPA was not a west coast hoppy style.“

“I was really surprised when I entered this store and saw the selection I did. Lots of Stone limited releases, Captain Lawrence, plenty of the more interesting beers for sale throughout NY. Not a huge selection, but a cut above the rest of the places I’ve purchased beer from in Westchester County and definitely the place to go to if in the area looking to buy beer. Foodwise, they have lots of gourmet food for sale.“
