“This is a place I’ve been going to for a while. They’ve really been taking up their game in the world of craft beer. I’ve often found decent beers here, but lately they’ve really had some impossible to find beers on their shelves. Also, in recent months they took up their growler station for 4 taps to about 12. Alway good selections, and the prices are decent. The bottles are fairly priced, and I usually find bottled priced cheaper than their competitors. They keep their page on beermenus.com updated, which I find a big plus. They have a clean, well lit store, and the service is attentive and friendly. They are becoming a really good place for craft beer.“

“Not that I’m all the old, only 31, but the bar has lost a bit of its zeal over the years. It used to be a real enthusiasts bar, but has mellowed over the years. There still is a great selection and some tasty brews but not the large quantity that they once had. Decent crowd, can get a bit over crowded. All in all, not too bad and.you can be sure to find something you like.“

“As you enter, the left wall is where you will find what you are looking for. Everything is reasonably sorted by brewer. Lots of the usual suspects here, but you know how this places are... things pop up here where you don’t expect them.“

“I really want to like this place more as the selection is pretty good and the prices aren’t bad, but really loud and dark bars just don’t do it for me. Call me old (26?), but that’s just how it is. I recommend getting here early so you don’t have to deal with the bigger crowds. To that effect, it isn’t too dissimilar from Barcade.“

“Rerate on 11/14/11. This place is really coming along, by increasing the number of growler station taps, and brings some great beers to the table, like GI BCS rare, CCB Marshall Zhukov and FW Parabola. Great selection of locals in bottle and on draught. Most things are very reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and helpful, and excited to move into the world of craft beer. These guys are committed to keeping the price of growlers very reasonable. Nice place overall, conveniently located near the parkway.“

“I live just 5 blocks from this place, so it’s amazing that I only found it now. The atmosphere is very young and hip. An old fart of 44 like myself might feel out of place normally. But while the crowd may be young, many people in the place have an appreciation for craft beers. And there is quite a large selection on tap and in bottles. It may not be the equal of Peculier Pub, but it’s still impressive. The location is conveniently across from the LIRR. Great place for craft beer. I will definitely frequent the place more often.“

“I’ve been to this bar many a time since turning 21 and I have to say that I have never been disappointed or unable to find beer or drinks that I enjoyed thoroughly. They always have courteus service, healthy samples, and hard to find taps and bottles. Overall it’s by far one of the best bars on LI.“

“One of the top bars I’ve been to on Long Island. Nice selection of handles as well as bottled product. Place is across the street from the LIRR train station.“
