“Storefront love cation in downtown Corning. Small bar, inside and outside seating. Food available. They had 0 of their own beers on tap. Very disappointed“

“Patty and I stopped in while in town. This place was not near the main drag with all the shopping. Still a nice small place. More seating out back. Had a nice NEIPA.“

“Patty and I stopped in to wait out the rain. I had a nice NEIPA and she liked her wine. While sitting in the front window, we met a couple who live in town and chatted till the rain and beer was gone.“

“Large place and they were just using the back half of the building. We just stopped in for a couple beers. Good selection and great service. Not a exciting place but good for beer.“

“Great wine selection, including many local wines, and good beer selection that includes some standard craft brews as well as some that I haven't found in the local area before. They search a number of plates (cheese, vegetable, meats), including special home made dips, butters, and bread. The bread is amazing. Very friendly staff.“

“Nice space for getting a drink with friends, and has a large window that opens to the sidewalk when the weather is nice. The acoustics are not great, so it can get a little loud, even when not full. The beers have improved since they opened and have gotten to be very good. Selection is not huge, but they always have different styles to suit a variety of different tastes. Beers are mostly their own and served on tap, though I think they have 1-2 drinks from other local spots.“

“Stopped in here visiting my parents. Nice small but modern taproom and brewery. Was able to chat with one of the owners on Sunday morning. They did crowlers, which was nice because I could take it to my parents and share. Not a ton of choices in this area, but this is a good one.“

“I stopped in here last summer on the way to meet the family for a function. Small taproom down a side street not far from the glass museum. I made my way to the bar and ordered a flight mere moments before a large group showed up and instantly overwhelmed the bar staff. Decent to good beer with an English feel to them with the Dark English ale and mocha porter being the standouts for me. Staff was attentive and friendly after the initial rush died down. Decent stop, I'd go back if in the area.“

“Stopped in here while visiting my parents. Pretty decent tap selection. Lots of onsite sales of bottles and growlers. Service was pretty good. Worth a stop if in the area.“

“Great Selection of Beers. Available in bottles, bombers, growlers, and multiple keg sizes. The Tap Room is very cozy and comfortable. There are even games to keep the children occupied. And it is right behind the Corning Museum of Glass (CMoG). A perfect way to end the day.“

“We came here to check it out and try a sampler of the beers. The beers were OK, there is nothing crazy on the beer menu, but drinkable. We did not have any food.“

“We stopped in here for an early supper after spending a whole lot of time looking at glass in the museum down the road. This is a smallish place right in downtown Corning, if your looking for it, you’ll find it. We sat outside on this sunny day and enjoyed being on vacation. There are maybe a half a dozen tables outside and maybe twice as many inside with additional seating at the bar. Food is typical pub grub nothing overly fancy, but nothing objectionable either. Service was decent and the beer is too. I would go back if I were in Corning, but I wouldn’t make a special trip for it.“

Wegmans - Corning (Grocery Store)
24 S BRIDGE STREET
“This is a grocery store chain that sometime since my last visit in ’06 found beer. They have build your own 6 packs (select beers, kind of a bummer), seasonal, special release, brewery sample packs, Western/upstate NY breweries, several different countries, and more. I would say they had at least 300 different choices. There really isn’t any assistance in that area and I wouldn’t expect them to hire a beer knowledgeable representative. This store is 24hr, however NY state beverage laws apply. They also have restaurants and prepared food that makes for a ready made evening. This is your go to beer store if you’re in the Corning area.“

“Stopped in for some brews and food after a day of site-seeing in the area. We found the service good and sat on the outside patio (which was just the ambiance we wanted). The brew selection was alright, nothing to write home about. We enjoyed our time though and I would suggest it as a watering hole to any of my friends.“

“Made a point to stop in while at Conference. Nice selection of beers if their light and fruit beers were a little liking, but definetly a good attempt at authentic styles. very friendly and the house made chips are great. Some atmosphere including ouitside patio, bar a bit small but they made room for me. Walking Corning Market Street should be considered in overall experoience.“

“Stopped here for some samples after visiting the Corning Museum. It was a hot day, and either they don’t have A/C in the bar area or it was busted. It was the most uncomfortable brewpub visit I’ve had in a while - I couldn’t stop sweating while trying to enjoy some beer. Anyway, service was fine, although they did switch some samples on me on the glass sheet and I’m not entirely sure the bartender knew what tap was what. The beers were average but clean and no odd house characteristic.“

“Close to the glass works on a little clean downtown is this moderately sized brewpub. A small bar, a few tables, and importantly some decent beer. Corning is often passed over and through travelling North-South, and this stop is worth pointing out, a neat little place. My favourite was the dunkel.“

“Nice building, and if it were cooler (100 degrees on the afternoon we went), I’m sure the outdoor seating would be especially nice. Service was decent, but the beers themselves were subpar.“

“Very large selection of there brews. The menu was very pleasant and I had a hard time making a decision. I was able to get a sampler which was all 5 regular beers and one seasonal, making it great for tasting. I am sure I will be back there since it is only 15 min from my home town.“

“Tasty brews and food make this place a spot to check out. Market St. makes for a nice setting for a brewpub. The beers were tasty and the service excellent. The waitresses were gorgeous. "The Kegger" hamburger is excellent and the boneless chicken wings are a must have.“

“In the summer I’d change my ambiance score to a 5. The outdoor seating is so nice in Corning. The Pot Belly Pale Ale is especially nice. My only complaint is that the bar is too small. If you can get there in the afternoon, you’ll have a seat and the complete attention of the bartender. At night--especially when they have live music--it’s every man (and woman) for themselves and very crowded. The beer and food are worth a stop.“
