“Arrived around 4:30 on a Saturday in early June. You pass the owner’s house and walk through some lovely gardens on your way toward the brewery shed that has had an expansion put on it as they continue to grow. Matt (the brewer and owner) is behind the bar, and greets everyone with a handshake if you’re new, which is about half of the crowd during the 90 minutes or so that I spend there. Six of his own beers on tap, as well as a local cider. Flights are very well priced, as are pints (or 12 ounce pours). I went through the flight and then grabbed a pour of my favorite of them which was an SMASH beer with orange added. All of the beers were clean. Matt’s preference leans toward slightly higher ABV beers, and everything fell between 6-7.3, with an amber, a stout, a few pale ales and IPAs. Everything was clean and well done, and the atmosphere is great. Loads of locals, with some travelers and tourists. A little bit out of the way, but worth the visit if you’re in the area. “
