80 /100 25 PINE STREET Big place that covers several buildings, coolship is in the basement of the barrel room behind the main brewery. Entering the front door you'll see a serving bar that continues around the corner to a very long normal bar; scattered restaurant and bar tables. Brewhouse visible through glass in the back, but you get a better look when you use the restrooms. Owner was drinking there when I arrived, very friendly. Staff were great too. Beers were tasty, and I liked their maltier stuff the best. They had one bottled spontaneous beer but it was too tart for me. Food was barbecue an mac-n-cheese, OK, very filling. Solid place. |
70 /100 634 MAIN STREET This is a chain of pretty standard sports bars, but it had the most extensive beer list in the area I was staying. One room is a bright, open dining room and next door is a much darker long L-shaped bar with bar tables and lots of TVs tuned to sports. Beer list included enough micros from around New York State to keep my interest for a couple of rounds, mainly beers from the local area and from NYC. Food was fine, food menu is as massive as the beer menu. Friendly service. You could do worse. |
84 /100 Aurora Brew Works (Beer Store) 191 MAIN ST Located on the main road into downtown. Bottle shop upstairs, bar below. 15 taps, flights. Friendly, quick service. Really great selection. |
78 /100 25 PINE STREET large place just off the main drag in East Arorua. Had about 12 beers on tap all of which where there own. I just had one on my visit and it was a solid IPA. Bartender was quick and friendly. |
84 /100 Aurora Brew Works (Beer Store) 191 MAIN ST The best thing about this place to staff who always seem to be well informed and friendly. It’s a great stop for out of state tickers because everything is available as singles so you can pick up a ton of new beers for pretty cheap. There’s eight beers or so on draft and they do flights if you want to sample. Some of the packaged beer is kept cold and you can open it in store if you wish (with a corkage fee, believe). My one complaint is you will definitely find a few expired bottles amongst the racks so make sure to check dates on the bottles you pick up. |
80 /100 25 PINE STREET This was a nice new large clean place. Plenty of staff on hand. I bought a flight of beers and they gave us a sample of another one of theirs. Good quality beers! They have games on hand and some colored popcorn. This will be a great place in warm weather as they have a large fire pit in back and a deck being built. |
86 /100 Aurora Brew Works (Beer Store) 191 MAIN ST Very nice place in East Aurora. Only tough thing is there is a ton of traffic in that little area and it can be a pain. You walk in and the first half is a small bar. 6 taps, limited seating, and usually people will be standing or sitting out front as well in the summer. Second half of the place is a full bottle shop. Quite a big collection and you can buy singles or by the pack. Prices are reasonable and it’s very nice and clean inside. I’ve found some beers to be dated well past their prime, but that’s why we check for dates. A great recommendation to me by a fellow RB member and I was not disappointed! |
86 /100 Aurora Brew Works (Beer Store) 191 MAIN ST great spot, best selection possible for what is available in WNY, right up there with Premier Gourmet. but you can drink in the store. Whats not to like. Come & imbibe |
90 /100 Aurora Brew Works (Beer Store) 191 MAIN ST Place is amazing. Soo many hard to finds in a small place. Massive selection |
80 /100 Aurora Brew Works (Beer Store) 191 MAIN ST This place is overwhelming with beer selection. The staff is awesome, but the only have one bathroom. If you love beer, you’ll love ABW. And Unbelievable selection per square foot of beer-store! |
84 /100 Aurora Brew Works (Beer Store) 191 MAIN ST As a beer store their selection is second only to premier. the main dif is its not overwhelmed by limited releases and u can often find them. Went here on a whim. In the middle of quaint east aurora. Half bar half bottle shop, its has a great ambiance. Bottle selection is good. 6 taps..... Could not tell you what is normally on as my visit was a during DFH tap takeover. DOH! Service was good but seats are limited. I will be back. |
98 /100 Aurora Brew Works (Beer Store) 191 MAIN ST Great place to taste some great beers! |
