“Beautiful touristy destination. Great food, not the greatest beer. Liked the beer better at the nearby place.“

“Huge number of taps and wide variety of styles. Food too. Friendly fast service. Nice wood decor. Distillery too. Flights of both. Good beer, worth a stop.“

“Storefront location in down Ellicottville. Old school bar & grille feel. Long bar, booths, tables. Not crowded, but steady flow of customers. Food, Caesar salad hit the spot. Good service, flights of 6 available.“

“We came here on 15.3.2019. Located in a skiing area close to Buffalo. 2 floor building with a restaurant area to the left and a brewery/distillery to the right side. You can see the destillery equipment and some fermentation tanks from a small glass window on the 2nd flloor. Downstairs a long dark bar and around 25 beers on tap. I had a Brut IPA, which was ok. Funny skull themed paintings on the restroom doors, should not be missed. A bit of a commercial place but not bad and worth a short stop.“

“Very nice looking place with a great view of the lake and the historic Bemus Pt. ferry (which is how we arrived...only operates on weekends and limited hours at that). Seems like a very popular place for eating and imbibing in this little town. Nice little diversion on beautiful Chautauqua Lake off I86. A lot of bucks went into this place...and if I lived in the area I'd frequent it often. There were 14 beers when I visited (along with 2 Southern Tier guest taps). I tried 8 via 2 flights. The Juicy Juice NEIPA was decent...as well as the Black Jack Oatmeal Stout...but overall...nothing was exceptionally good or memorable. Nice stop if passing thru...especially if combined with the ferry. And let's not forget that adjacent Chautauqua is exceptionally beautiful and destination of its own.“

“My only complaint was that it was really pricey. The sampler was something crazy like $13 or something like that. The food and beer were solid, the waitstaff was friendly, and the patio was lovely on a summer day. I just wish the bill wasn’t so high when it came.“

“Had to stay the night here in town for business which made for a place tick. Pretty large open room, old ski lodge feel. I sat at the bar for a few beers and dinner. Service was decent. I had a soup which was okay, the burger I got was pretty good though. I thought food prices where high. They had about 14 beers on tap but I could not see a list, and was tired so I only had a few IPAs which were fairly solid. Would I come back? Yes.... But I would not go out of my way for.“

“Visited: 12-14-11 A: The atmosphere of the place is decent, somewhat rustic look but not dumpy. The place has a feel more of a gastropub than your typical bar atmosphere. Q: The beers on tap are mostly decent, nothing that will bore you or disappoint, especially after hitting the slopes. S: The service in EBC was decent, they didnt cater to my every need but didnt ignore either. On this day, the ski slopes have only been open for two days and it is raining outside, so the place was slow. S: The selection is really good, they had 15 different in house beers on tap and a wide array of styles from their Pale, Winter White, Rye PA, Black IPA, Belgian Abbey, 2 Cuvee Styles, Nut Brown, Imperial IPA, Stout, Blueberry, Chocolate Cherry Stout, etc. I did not try any food this time. The value is decent as two pints cost me 10 bucks for two seasonals. Ellicottville is a small ski resort town with 2 ski resorts, located about an hour south of Buffalo“

“3rd stop on ’Brew Tours 2012’. Nice bar atmosphere. The sampler had 6 oz samples. Food was good. Friends talked me into buying a glass and t-shirt. (had to buy a long sleeve shirt since they were out of LG short sleeve)“

“Not a bad place to grab some food at and a beer. Their beer offerings to me are a bit hit and miss.“

“Located right next to Holiday Valley Ski Resort, this place obviously gets pretty bumping during the winter. I stopped by after a hike right at the beginning of the ski season, so it was predictably busy. However, an hour wait for a table is not a big deal when you can saddle up to the bar and warm up while having a beer or two. Plus, everyone is there on vacation so the vibe is very friendly and upbeat. There were maybe 10 or 12 of the house brewed beers on tap, ranging from the typical Blueberry and Pale Ale, to a barrel aged imperial stout, to a Belgian Strong aged in Cabernet barrels (which was phenomenal). Two flights are available, the "regular" one and the "imperial" one. Both come with 5 or 6 beers, I think the regular one was $10 and the imperial maybe 14 or so. Great food, good portions, priced typically for the area. Obviously a bit out of the way for most, but if you’re in the area it’s certainly worth stopping in.“

“Located in the small village of Ellicottville right near a bunch of other shops, bars, and restaurants. Medium sized brewpub with a long nice bar. Food is pretty solid, shepards pie is great! Beers are all pretty solid, Pantis Dropius is a standout DIPA. Employees were all nice locals. This place gets pretty busy especially during ski season. Overall just a good brewpub to check out in Ellicottville, wheres there not much else to offer as far as beer goes.“

“Not really impressed by any of their beers. Some because of quality others because of personal preference. They make to many gimmick beers. Constantly changing seasonal selection. Overall not to bad its just not for me.“

“This was a pretty nice brewpub. They had seven beers on tap and a few bottled beers for sell. The food was good. The brewer and manager were pretty chatty. Worth the stop if in the area.“

“Great little brew pub in this small ski town south of Buffalo. Food is usually very good but really pricy. 2 Brothers is a greatpale. Blueberry is OK but Pantius Dropius DIPA is also well made. Check it out if in the area“

“One of the best brewpubs I’ve been to. Good, smooth beers, no vinegar aftertaste. The special ale is a 10 point ale, smmoth, not strong on the palate, with a wonderful taste.Don’t forget to check out the beer garden! Food is outstanding! If you like shepards pie, you need to eat this one. Flaky crust and uses veal, not hamburger.“

“It was pretty empty when I was there so it was pretty quiet. Bigger bar area, but so empty you could hear the echo. Pretty nice, though. Their beers are okay, nothing special usually. I didn’t eat. Decent place and I’m sure there isn’t much else in the area so if you’re there, you might as well.“
