80 /100 1771 DRYDEN RD Super friendly, small batch. Encouraged us to try before we bought. Some good beers, lots of seating, beautiful location. |
74 /100 1771 DRYDEN RD Decent spot. Very much a farm brewery. Had a big seating area that was closed for some reason on our visit, so we took up a spot at a picnic table in the brewery area. Good service. Solid, if not that exciting beers. Nice crowd of friendly people hanging around. Not a destination, but a solid stop. |
78 /100 1771 DRYDEN RD Good place with a variety of beers on tap. Friendly service with some quality and unique brews on tap. Definitely worth a stop. |
80 /100 1771 DRYDEN RD This Farm Brewery is kind of in the middle of nowhere, in a small, unassuming structure tucked away on a gravel road. In front of the building is a jungle gym of hop vines, winding their way upward.
Inside, you will find a friendly couple (the owners/brewers) who will either offer you seven samples for $5, or tastes of a few different beers. (If you want to buy a pint, you can do that too.)
You can get an ad hoc tour of the facility as well, notably the extremely efficient brewing system that has been set up. You will return to the sampling room, where you can buy a growler, a half-growler, or a mini-growler that looks like a bell-jar.
The beers are of various varieties, mostly English, American and Belgian styles. All seven beers (plus one guest cider tap) were darn good. If you happen to be in the Utica/Dryen/Freeville/Varna region, please stop by and drop a few bucks for these people who are doing God’s work. |
76 /100 1771 DRYDEN RD We stopped there in late January with the Finger Lakes Beer Trail winter Passport. Nice new little building for Brewpub. Husband and wife operation. We had a great tour and it was an enjoyable time. They will also be growing much of their own hops right there on their front lawn. |
