“Rating 2 (8/12/18):
A couple of updates since my last visit. They have added some nice signage now (basically the word brewery on giant arrows) to the industrial complex. Makes it a lot easier to find the place if you don't know where you are going. They also have cans now and the crowler machine is either gone or I just didn't see it. Additional note: if you visit in the summer the place is really really warm, so watch out for that.

Rating 1 (11/9/16):
Was pretty excited for this place to open since Jeff left Peekskill. It’s an interesting spot. Not the easiest to find as there isn’t much signage. Inside there is a a bar area on one side, a seating area on the other, and all the brewing equipement is in the middle. Six drafts available on my visit. Crowlers available to go. Made for a nice stop, excited to see how it goes as they are around a bit longer.“

“Managed to get in here finally on a Saturday in late May. Small crowd, but not crowded. It’s a bit tough to find in the big industrial complex, but it’s intuitive enough if you watch where people have parked or are walking to or from. The space is open and bright, well lit and clean. Seven beers on when I went, everything was hoppy to some degree, which is the only knock I could see someone giving this place. If you’re not a fan of hoppy stuff, there isn’t much for you here. The beers are excellent. Pours are available in 10 ounce or full pints, with nothing smaller, though they’ll taste you on anything. Food options are limited to a cheese or meat "tile", which is a chunk of stone tile, with meat or cheese respectively, for $8. I got the cheese one, and it’s all cheese, no accompanying other things (meat one is the same), and it was more than enough cheese for one person, definitely want to split this. Service was great and friendly. Very welcoming place, and highly worth the stop.“

“Great location in an early 1800’s brick factory complex that used to be a garment factory...made uniforms for the civil war. Now a few businesses are using the various buildings with the brewery taking one of the coolest for the brew deck and taproom...and then another for the fermenters, ingredients, and finished beer (they pipe the beer from the brewing building to another building that is "not" connected and currently not viewable). The owner/brewer was at Ithaca Brewery for 10 years (I was told he was responsible for Flower Power) and most recently at Peekskill Brewery. They favor hoppy style beers here and do a very good job. There were 7 beers when I visited last weekend. Tools of the Trade XPA was probably the best...but a few others were very good...and the Pantry Porter was notable. These guys seem to still be spiraling up...which is impressive given how good the beers are so far...but then the pedigree is already there. Nice staff and good prices...plus growlers and crowlers. Just disappointed there are no flights or at least purchasable 4 or 6 oz (or even 8 oz) pours...10 oz is the smallest available and too large. Definitely a great new place to visit in the lower Hudson Valley (very close to Haverstraw and the Hudson River).“
