| 78 /100 Industry Standard (Bar) 45 FRONT STREET “New upscale modern/industrial bar on main drag in Greenport, across street from Whisky Wind. Dark and cool, sat at the bar. Decent selection, with many local/regional offerings. Did not eat but the lady next to us had a fried chicken dish that looked fantastic. Best bar to hit after tasting at Greenport Brewing down the street.“ |

Bar lady was the friendliest brewery employee I have met. Above average beers, flight of six with two other special beers in pints. Get to keep the tasting and pint glasses. Really cool spot.“ |
| 80 /100 234 CARPENTER STREET “I was here twice last summer. For the price of a pint or two you can get the gamut of what they have on tap, a half dozen or so, and a branded pint glass to take home. In short, a great deal for some very respectable beers. They didn’t have any of the bigger higher rated beers available either time. But it’s not all about those right?!? It’s a tiny but open bar like tasting room on the upstairs of an old fire station off the main drags in Greenport. When the North Fork of LI is the new Sonoma/Napa maybe this will be the new Russian River...maybe.“ |

There were five beers available the day that I was there, plus a good crowd for a Friday afternoon. Besides being a little loud for my taste, the room was nice, with funky seating and outsider art on the walls. Overall, a recommended experience for beer lovers on the North Fork.“ |
| 78 /100 234 CARPENTER STREET “Forgot to rate this place, though I was there this summer. Happened to be in Greenport anyways, otherwise it’s quite a trek. I like what this up-and-coming brewery is doing, beer-wise. Beer is all solid and the Anniversary #1 was awesome. $5 for a glass and everything on tap, is a great deal. The location is unusual and a bit cramped for the weekend summer crowd (no seating). But still a decent scene. Glad they’re distributing out to the city, or I’d probably never get it again. Another plus is that Greenport is in the heart of LI wine country, so there’s always plenty of alcohol around if you’ve had enough beer. The surrounding town is also nice. Service is friendly and decent growler prices as well.“ |
| 74 /100 234 CARPENTER STREET “I have to begin my saying it is a real pleasure for me to have a craft brewer within 20-25 minutes of my house, no less east of me! Greenport has undergone quite a transformation in recent years and it is a real pleasure to see. The brewery is housed in what used to be the old firehouse, next to the old jail, in easy walking distance from the center of town. There is a small tasting room on street level which currently has five taps with free samples. All of the folks working at the brewery are extremely friendly and really seem to enjoy talking beer. The equipment is all visible behind large glass windows in the tasting room, which is neat to see. If you come, I suggest you bring your own growler as their’s are $5 ea.“ |

It is only one block off the main walkway for the town and the doors are usually open. The brewery is totally exposed behind glass walls from the small tasting room in the front of the building, while there is a tasting room upstairs. The brewmaster and the owners are very friendly.“ |
