“I sense a British hand behind this place, with the British pint glasses (sadly in smaller American pint sizes) and occasional British beer styles. The clincher was the picture of Morris dancers hanging near the bar. This place is huge, with at least half a dozen different outdoor spaces and decks on a large mercantile building from 1851. Brewhouse on the bottom level with just the auger visible from the bar. They've preserved bits and pieces of the function of the old business as well, which is interesting. Nice variety of beer styles with just one token NEIPA, thanks for that. All were tasty but especially the rye lager. Food was creative as well, varied in quality just like merry olde England. Staff were an absolute hoot, and you can tell they like their job. Whatever businesses are struggling to hire in the service industry need to look at this place to figure out what they're doing right. It's worth your time to check them out too, and it's a gorgeous drive from any direction.“
