“Surrounding Mount Vernon, Bronxville, Pelham, etc. this is the only place which has any decent selection of beer. It’s like a large water pond in an oasis. The store is a great surprise, I had passed this store for years and wasn’t considering on entering. Upon a recent snow storm I just walked in and was shocked to see what I saw. It has a great selection of prepared foods, salads, great deli counter. The store even had a Seafood department. Now getting back to the beer, the selection is incredible and the prices I consider and pretty good. In Mount Vernon and the surrounding areas has nothing. The closest place which I had seen a good beer selection (although pretty pricey) was the Diccico store in Ardsley which isn’t close. I had requested a hard to find beer, and was surprised that they were able to get it within a day. They also gift Beer Mugs and Glasses quite often. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! “

“i live in the Fleetwood section of Mount Vernon, and i have to drive south closer to the city to get to this store. It sis a supermakrt but it is the only place in the city of Mount Vernon that is offering me any kind of variety which is out of the norm of the typical brews...“
