“I love this place. The front/bar area is tall tables and stools, with enough TVs around the bar so that any seat is a good seat. The tap selection and bottle selection are very good, with lots of semi-obscure beers. The bartenders are a rare combination of friendly and knowledgeable. (Most bartenders are one of the other.) They also offer flights of any of the taps for just $6: a steal. The back room has a living room/lounge feel. (On the day I went, there was a fantasy baseball draft that looked like it was taking place in someone’s den.) You will see a lot of beards and baseball caps. The food was also excellent, including the best fried pickles I’ve ever had. The owners/bartenders all made us feel very welcome, and even stopped by to chat for a few minutes. (Only drawback: not open on Sundays, and it’s nothing if not a "Sunday bar." If you are anywhere near the Oriskany area, make sure you swing by for a couple.“
