“This place has it all - a great location, extensive outdoor area with a sweeping view of the hills, a characterful taproom with a view of the brewhouse and two overhead doors that bring the outdoors in, very tasty beers in a variety of styles from a bottled Brett saison to a proper English dark mild, pollinators in the form of an interior beehive, and hipster chicken neighbors. But above all they have friendly people - from Adam and his wife who run the place, and the friendly locals who bought me beers for no reason at all. And they have a coolship; two seasons in, they have some spontaneously fermented beer in barrels but haven't released anything yet - maybe next year. No food or food trucks, that's the only minor detraction. Well deserving of the title of Best Brewery in New York State in 2023 - congrats by the way!“
