“A real gem, the real deal here. This is a farm to table operation. A brew works in a barn on a working farm. Not a brew works in a barn building on what used to be a farm. The closest thing I have seen to this is Halls Ice Cream in Millerstown, Pennsylvania, an ice cream maker on a farm where the cows are right outside the window and you can smell the straw as you walk up to the building. It is real here and very inviting.They have a high ceiling capped with reclaimed wood. Some nights they have live music. The owners are very nice. This chocolate Porter is nicely done, not too strong with the vanilla ruling over any coffee or chocolate. Slightly creamy , a little thin. I had it on tap at the lovely brewpub on the farm. I also had a pint of a really nice, thick pale ale called "Seneca 6" which is a collaborative product of several brewers up here in the Finger Lakes.“
