“Great list of beers here. The place gets a little packed but the crowd is fairly mellow despite all the "twenty somethings". One gripe I have though is the douchebag door man had to leave the front door open when it was freezing cold out, frosting up the folks in the first third of the bar.“

“I was working on Long Island when I realized that this place was about 5 minutes from the hotel. Ambiance: Pretty cool place, very clean, nice long bar that can hold about 15-18 patrons, 6 vintage video games in the back including an original Tapper (an all time favorite for me), 3 dart boards and a small kitchen coming soon. Service: Bartender was somewhat knowledgeable, friendly and attentive Selection: Solid selection of Long Island beers mixed in with other sold offerings plus cans and bottles for sale too No Food Yet (and I was starving) but they will let you bring food in. There is a pizzeria in the plaza. Value: $7 pints, not horrible but not a value by any means. Overall: Solid as hell, better than I expected, definitely coming back this week“

“First time being back in Long Island in a while and was very happy to find this bar. Great selection good mix of local options as well as domestic craft and imports. Service was print even though it was crowded. Will have to go back next time I visit.“

“I love this place. First of its kind in walking distance to my house. I am used to having trouble finding good beer to drink at a bar, now I have trouble choosing wich great brew I am going to drink. Thankfully they give samples.“

“[Have been back again since being in town and had a longer time to inspect the import selection, and it really is rather limited, so I have to knock my selection rating down - still a good place to grab locals and regionals, but they really need to work on the import end - also, after visiting a few more stores, I realize that they could also do a little better on the regionals - still a great store] I wish this place had been around when I lived in the area - large, clean, well-lit store - about as inviting as an LI beer store can be - a vast amount of shelf space - the only concern is the intense flourescent lighting in the place, which might cause problems with beers that have been sitting on the shelves for a while - huge selection of american micros - probably the largest I have seen in one place on LI - their selection is much less picked over than the well-known stores on the island because, well, they are not on the beer geek radar as much...yet - imports are where they fall short of the other good LI stores - their selection is heavy on German and English beer, but a little light on the belgians - four tap lines of local beer - friendly staff - prices trend towards the low end of the spectrum for the area, which is nice - if they retool their imports and get a few more taps, they could easily give places like Big Z and Shoreline a run for their money.“
