“300 bottles (according to the server) but no tap. Service way too slow although friendly. Needed several reminders to get my beer. Beer and drinks are overpriced. Food not impressive. The only plus is the ability to buy beer by the bottle to go.“

“Anriques, cheese shop, candy shop, beer. OK. Large but cozy resturant that serves tasty comfort food. Pot pies, meatloaf, yum. Cheese plates are a nice treat too. Service is decent but sometimes it feels slow during peak times. Behind the bar lies the coolers filled with beer. Bottle selection is expansive but nothing I could not find at the local beer store. Germans, belgians, english, and American crafts are all well represented. Slight deduction for no tap beers. Glass wear is appropriate as needed. Prices are bit high but not outrageous“

“Came here on a quiet weekend (Sunday). Place looks like it could be good but I get the sense I didn’t see it when it was good. Folks were nice but the waitress gave the impression she’d prefer to be somewhere else. Beer selection was good but no taps and no prices on menu and got dinged $9 for an English stout. Food was ok but again, pricey for what it was. I wouldn’t come here for the beers or food again but it’s nice to know if you’re in town and you want a good beer, you can find it.“

“Well....drove up the windy mountain road to find that they have no beer on tap. Slow night took forever to get food. Some nifty bottles for high prices at this ski bum hangout. Pass. I’ll drive to half time for the same brews for less. Nice ambiance but way overpriced antiques.“

“only place to get good beer if you live oin the area. i frequented this place when i lived here, even with a 40 minute drive. while there is nothing absurdly rare, there is a well balanced selection of both american and euro craft brews. they have well over 100 selections. they carry phenomenal cheeses if you know what you are looking at, def more rare than the beers. the staff is generally knowledgable, enough to give you 2-4 selections that may pair well with a certain dish or cheese. its a very warm cozy environment inside, a very welcome stop in a winter storm where you can ride it out without anxiety. very rustic feel, i really like hanging out here in the winter.“

“Made a pitstop here before the tap ny Sunday session. Great selection of beer and cheese, all of which can be either taken out from their store or consumed in house. You won’t find anything rare, but you’ll certainly find something worth drinking. The atmosphere is great, old farmhouse/general store. Service was attentive and reasonably fast. While I didn’t eat much, I did split a cheese platter with my fiance that was excellent. Overall, a charming restaurant/store that both beer ethusiasts and non-enthusiasts will most likely enjoy.“

“Before going here, I never had a Knish before. I also never sampled Westmalle before either. While its not on the current beer menu, they constantly add new selections to their cooler. This place is part restaurant and part gift shop. Its the perfect place to bring the wife and kids who will enjoy the numerous pastries, gourmet sauces and other culinary delights on display. Its located in the middle of the Catskills in a town that caters to skiiers at nearby Hunter Mountain. Tannersville, NY, itself is charming with its little stores and restaurants. Last Chance is also good place for brewerania enthusiasts to check out with its massive bottlecap and bottle collection on display. For a rural/tourist community, one would never expect to see so many beers for sale.“
