Village Beverage (Beer Store)
2051 WADING RIVER MANOR ROAD
“Village beverage has moved to a new, larger and much cleaner location and is stocked with more brands of beer than one can imagine. The rating in here is at least 2 years old, that is how long ago they moved. They are now off the corner of 25A and Manorville / Wading River Road. Check them out agian. Many micro brews sold there too.“

“Growing up in Eastern Long Island we have a decent amount of beverage stores. I've passed this one many time heading out to the ferry or the outlets. Last Sunday while coming back from the outlets I decided to stop in and grab something. I got there close to closing time but man was I glad! As you walk in directly in front of you it the Great Wall of Craft! I think it's the biggest selection I've seen out east. They have a big election of Belgiums and locals brews as well. 9 taps for growler fills. The owner was there and he was great to talk to about beer which is always a plus! There is also a section where you can pick 6! They have a nice fireplace setup to create some ambiance as well. I'm pretty sure this is my new beer destination despite it being a little far. It well worth the drive!“

“Another solid store. Nice guys, good service, and an expanding selection that is good enough that you can usually find something new or different to try. Always something good on tap, occasionally something outstanding. Neat, clean, easy to find what you want. Good guys to talk beer with, which is always worth an extra point on both service & overall ratings. I’ll pass a couple of other beer stores to go to this one if I am in the area. worth a short (20 min) trip, but not yet a "destination" store.“

“Great Store and very clean. Every time I go in the store, the import/brewery beer selection is increasing. Apparently, Union beer is now out in Suffolk County offering beers that have not been available out this far. The owners seem to know a lot about their current selection and what is on the way. Contrary to other posts,I found South Hampton beers available right in the front of the store. I was also told they would order anything available,if I did’nt see it. No reason for me to go anywhere else !“

“Ehh, been here a few times in the past few years. Its really a basic beer store, there is a hand full of them in that end of L.I. Nothing special but better than the supermarket. As mentioned below you will find that and not much more. Its not their fault, they probably get everything that is distributed that far out. The only catch is they are rather cloe to Southhampton yet get none of their stuf brewed at the Publick House. They are similar stores that are not even listed that have the same selection with the SH stuff on top. But, if you are going toward Southhampton this is sort of on the way.“

“Updated rating 9/12/2009. It has been a year since I last visited this place, and they have since moved to a new location a mile or two east. The store and its parking lot is surrounded by a large six-foot chain link fence. The building itself is decent sized with fairly organized shelves and a decent selection about on par from what I remember they had last time I was here. They also have a growler station with four taps. Their growler prices seem pretty high to me, at least $2-$3 more for the same beer that I’ve seen at Bellport and Big Z. And their growlers are $4.99 if you need the glass, which is pretty high. Their bottle prices are a bit high as well, averaging about $1/sixpack higher than up west. The two guys working there seem knowledgeable and interested, which is a plus. The prices are high enough though that I wouldn’t make this a regular stopping place, but I’ll probably stop in every now and again to see what they have. Original rating 3-9-12-NA-NA-15=78 on 10/20/2006. Follow-up rating 2-5-12-NA-NA-12=62 on 9/15/2008.“
