“I have been wanting to visit this place ever since I first encountered some of their delicious IPA a couple of years ago. It is rapidly becoming one of the area's top breweries - everything they make is very good indeed! This large tap room is located in an old, spacious building that used to be part of a prison and reform school complex. It is an excellent repurposing of real estate btw. It is probably best to visit on a warm day, so that you can sit out on the patio and look at the fine views overlooking a nearby river and meadows. Seating is pretty basic and the only food comes from a food truck parked by the entrance, but the beer is just great, and it is a very popular spot. They offer cans to take out along with pours of 16 of their brews.“

“Nice smaller spot on the main drag in Warwick. Tap list was small, but impressive, with some really good breweries on or on the next up list. Food was pretty good, fairly typical bar food options. Service was really good, despite it being quite crowded. Nice spot.“

“Visit Date: 10/9/22 The newer location for DUBCO in Warwick is a nice fall spot. Very close to Drowned Lands. Good sized tasting room, with a large, spread out outdoor area as well. Two food trucks were present on our visit. Lots of picnic tables and outdoor seating areas, plus plenty of people bringing their own chairs as well. Inside they have plenty of seating at the a long bar and more at tables. Live music was going on a Sunday afternoon / early evening. Beers are solid. Plenty of cans to go. Good spot.“

“Visit Date: 8/8/21 Newer spot (but not so new I should have had to add it). Damn Ratebeer place peps, we are a shrinking crew. This place is one of the more hyped openings of 2020 in the region, I can't believe it didn't even exist on this site until today. Anyway, this is an awesome spot. Huge two-story farm-style brewery with a two level back patio / deck and a big grassy area filled with picnic tables as well. Inside is a big open bar area, lots of seating, and lots of open air. Beer-wise, they had 16 taps on my visit. Lots of IPAs and DIPAs, a couple sour IPAs, a couple of Saisons, a Wit, and a Foeder Pils. List on their website is up-to-date. A good number of can 4-packs to go as well (also on the website ~ 15 choices). Food-wise, they don't serve food, but they did have a food truck on our visit. Overall, this is an excellent spot to visit. I could have sat outside on that patio drinking some Foeder Pils for a very long time on a nice fall afternoon, and I hope to return to do that at some point in the near future.“

“Really nice little place. Came with my folks for an afternoon around Thanksgiving timeframe. Had a nice lunch (pizzas are great) and then leisurely enjoyed some of their ciders and wines. Everything is available on site and they will open for you to drink in their big dining room/hall. Their Doc’s ciders are really enjoyable. This particular Saturday afternoon had some really nice folk/bluegrass live music and we sat there for several hours and it was really a terrific day. Was able to walk around the orchards for a bit afterwards. Would definitely go back.“

“Finally managed to make a trip down to Warwick and Chester to visit some cideries and the new brewery (Rushing Duck) that opened up. A bit smaller than expected, and classier than expected given it being called a roadhouse. The bar seats about 12, and there’s table seating for close to 30 on top of that. Saturday evening at 5 the place was at about half capacity and there was a nice warm friendly vibe. Taplist when I stopped in was Chimay Cinqcent, Anchor Christmas, Mad Elf, Bear Republic Heritage, Ommegang Duvel Rustica, Green Flash friendship, Ovisholt Lava, Old Rasputin. Nice selection, but lacking in anything really sessionable. Menu is definitely geared toward meat enthusiasts and I had a bit tougher of a time than I feel I normally do finding something to eat. A couple of the appetizers, most of the salads, and one of the entrees are vegetarian friendly. Lots of options for steaks though, and neat little sliders. It appears they do samplers, but unfortunately no half pours. Really rough with a selection of only higher ABV beers. As I had to drive and couldn’t justify drinking a second big beer I had to pass on anything further.“

“Quite impressed with this place. I’ve been drinking the stuff from their Doc’s label for years, but in spite of being just a little more than an hour away, I had never managed to stop in here before. Came on a Saturday afternoon in mid-December and it was packed. You walk in through the store area which features a large amount of local cheeses, snacks, and other things. There’s a fridge full of their wines and ciders available to be consumed on site (same prices, and they’ll open anything you get there, didn’t enquire about bringing in outside beverages). There’s also a small bar featuring 4-5 of their cider and perries (though many are not rateable here, but that’s not really a big deal). Attached to this is a large open hall with a good amount of tables and a small stage. There was live music when I was here and almost all of the tables were filled. Connected to the hall on the other side is a cafe that has a rather nice selection of foods, sandwiches, pizzas, other tasty looking things. Wonderful atmosphere, if you’re passing through, worth a quick stop but not necessarily just for the cider.“

“Located on an orchard this is a tasting room and retail. There are tastings for $6 which allow you to sample five of their wines (or ciders) of your choice from the list. I ended up doing the two ciders and three wines (a malbec, and two vintages of their cab). The ciders were pretty good (and I ended up bringing home some of each of them), but I wasn’t blown away by the wines. Staff was super friendly and happy to chat about other local area places. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop here, or plan on spending very long, but if you’re doing a winery tour or something like that it could be a nice stop. I’d assume it’s also a little more appealing during apple picking season where you can probably do a pick-your-own sort of thing and then grab some wines or ciders after.“

“Once you get over the fact that there is no beer available here, you will like it a lot. They do have plenty of hard cider, wine, and liqueurs, but they only sell their brand. It is a big and very popular place to hang out, with attractive surroundings and a good kitchen turning out interesting dishes. Their Doc’s Draft is one of the better ciders around, even if it is only available in a few varieties. There is live music on weekends. Located a few miles outside the town of Warwick in a rural area, and well worth a visit.“

“I stop here sometimes when in the area, mainly to get beers that aren’t distributed in my local area. Selection is good, having a few taps for growlers is always a bonus, and the pricing is fair/decent......although the NY tax and bottle deposit always brings your purchase price way up above NJ. All in all, a decent place to stop by, and the absolute best in the Warwick area. Now, if the owner would finally move the rest of the beer selection AWAY from the front window!!!“

“Small but efficient store that is trying to fill a specialty niche. The owner was very helpful and said that he was always looking for new beeers to bring in and that he would check on the availability and would order anything I requested. Some beers are on shelves that are up against the front window, but the owner explained that he was in the process of blocking them off. Much of the inventory is in coolers and there were some tasty brews on tap available for growler filling. Re-visit 7/06 The front windows are now blocked off and this place is evolving nicely. This place is worth a stop if you are in the area and looking for NY micros.“
