“Stopped in for lunch on my way to ART. The place is located near downtown, plenty of parking across the street. The place is classy, light Colours, long bar, plenty of seating space, very nice. Over 25 taps, very broad selection from NY and other northeast States. Tasters were 2 to 5$ 5 ounces pours. Menu of burgers, poutines, pizza, salads. The blue cheese burger was solid. Worth the stop.“

“Second visit since this place opened. Located close to the river, qui est this former industrial building is nicely renovated. Cheerful service. . Food menu is mainly burgers and other pub fare. 20 taps, 14 of their own and some decent guest taps. Flight of 4 for 11$.“

“Stopped in last Friday with the Cape Vincent gang. This is a big, new clean place. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. On tap they had about 20 beers with 8 of them theirs. Good selections. Fast friendly service. We'll be back.“

“Stopped in last Friday with the Cape Vincent crew. Nice new clean looking place. Very friendly fast service. Nice selection of beers. I was able to get a flight even during these Covid times. We had a good time there.“

“Really good spot! 40ish beer on tap, including KBS and Maine Lunch while I was there. Some macro filler in there, but whatever. Service was super friendly, food was solid pub food. Kid friendly. Good spot, would return!“

“Interesting little place. With a few good domestic and foreign beers. But not enough singles. And the old lady behind the counter was very nice, but knew nothing about the beer. And while there did seem to be some attempt at organization, it seems to have been attempted by several different people. At different times. Without speaking to each other. Prices were acceptable.“

“IMHO, beats the crap out of Bear World...awesome selection, even for such a small city, friendly service, decent price, cheese, meats, brewing equipment....the growler stop offers big jugs down to pint size mini jars! Overall, quite impressed.“

“We stopped in on a Thursday afternoon for lunch and a beer. We sat at a table out on the patio over looking the river. Our waitress had to wait on many tables, but she quickly moved from table to table. There was a nice selection of beers to choose from. We had a great lunch there. We’ll be back.“

“Pretty insane place for being in the middle of nowhere. I’d never buy a fragile beer here without knowing the enjoy by date, but for stuff that you know is fresh, or for something that would be a little more stable the place is hard to beat in this area. Better than any single spot in Syracuse.“

“Typical convenience store with a more than decent craft beer selection. Build your own six-pack section, around 10 growler taps and a couple good imports. On the negative side, prices are on the high side and there’s lot of dusty outdated bottles.“

“Pretty good selection. Excellent for Watertown. Off the beaten path though and Bottle caps is just off the I-81 with a very similar selection. This place has more volume but they are both very similar.“

“In the basement of Arsenal Liquors. Newish place with a large walk in cooler and a pretty good selection of bottles. Not necessarily loaded with specials and one-offs but was easily able to find enough to satisfy my thirst. 4 growler fill taps as well. Owner is green but eager to learn and will go out of his way to help you out.“

“In the middle of nowhere, but close to Canada. I was shocked by what I found here: Alesmith, Ballast Point, Evil Twin.... Bright with wide aisles, but only vaguely organized. Prices aren’t excellent, but aren’t crazy either. Not a huge selection, either, but what they have seems well chosen. Friendly but not particularly helpful service. More than the sum of its parts, because of the great beers.“

“Was in the area for work and found this place. Great selection and prices, helpful staff. Was a little surprised that some of the really good local beers were under-represented (Southern Tier, etc.) but still the place to go in this area.“

“This is a medium size liquor store located in the older part of Watertown. Great selection of north east breweries with also a good representation of larger west coast breweries being available. I really appreciated the fact that you could build your own mixers from a large variety of singles. Price appears to be fair with some large bottle being somewhat pricey (Belgian, Dogfish). Staffs were helpful though not the most knowledgeable. Growler station had some semi-interesting stuff on though most of the beers were blond or amber ales. Good place to stop when in Watertown though not necessarily worth a stop depending which other part of the states you are visiting.“

“So not how to review this place given that they lost their liquor license Feb 1, 2012 and as of the end of March do not know when they will be getting it back - so if you go soon call first and find out. Food was decent, service good although the place was empty. Based on what they were supposed to have on tap and in bottles it looks like a decent place to stop in.“

“Visited this place on a day trip into the US. Selection is very good in terms of what you can get without going to something further south in NY. Prices are a little odd - regular packages and singles are quite expensive (although you do get a nice 10% discount when mixing and matching) but the bombers are quite reasonable. Found some nice gems like Firestone XV, had 120 minutes IPA on tap for a growler fill and some other interesting brews from Dogfish Head and North Coast. Place was empty but didn’t really get to talk to the help behind the counter or the guy who was doing some stock stuff - they seemed lost in their own world - but that being said I didn’t ask for any help either. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area although if I am going to Suracuse for the weekend I would probably drive the extra distance to Beers of the World and pass by here.“

“Great Place situated overlooking thie river. They have 35 beers on tap with a regular changes in their offerings. They also have at least 45 bottled beers to choose from. There is something for everybody. The bartenders seem well versed in the types of beer on hand Oh yeah, this is also a resturant with quality meals and standard pub fare to choose from. This is a nice gem in the North Country of New York. Well worth checking out.“

“Found this little gem of a beer store while working in the Watertown area. They have been open less than a year, but carry a large selection of craft beers from around the US and from overseas as well as offerings from the local and regional craft brewers. There is a large walk-in cooler full of beer ready to consume. If you are undecided on what you want there is a wall of single beers to build a six-pack mixer from. In addition to having Kegs available, there are normally 4-5 rotating beers on tap for growlers. “

“Merci Lubière. Found this place out of nowere thanks to Ratebeer map on our way to Oswego for a beer trip. Realized this place is awesome. 3 storeys, arcades, 36 taps (including very decent stuff - Dogfishead punkin, 3 Great Lakes, Arrogant Bastard and many more). Came in on Saturday, December 4th, 2010. Saw a sign saying 1$ pints (Goose Island IPA and Ommegang Witte). Decent menu including what you want from an American pub (Reuben’s, pulled pork, chicken wings, Grilled Cheeze Burger??). definitely worth the visit. My friend took 1/2 starter, 1 full meal, 3 pints and it cost him 23$ including the tip. NOTE: they don’t fill Growlers.“

“The former Red Lion/Black River BC has resurrected has Maggie’s. Same look, in a former 1900’s industrial building, facing the Black River Park, all brick structure. Decent and cheap food (3 pulled pork sliders for 8$) and decent selection of beers on tap and bottles .“
