“Came for pizza pods, stayed for beer. Great selection for a restaurant and it was also a Bourbon County location so extra special beers available. Does flights and also makes its own beers.“

“I just to visit here, as I have a one-eyed cat. Really quaint setting on the main drag in Williamsville, located on an old renovated house. Owners were great, loved the merch, and the beer was good. Excellent service and BBQ is available through an on-site kitchen. Definitely with a stop. Look for a picture of my little Merlin on the cat wall.“

“Stopped here as there are several breweries in the vicinity. Bustling lunch time crowd, local, neighborhood vibe. Old fashioned interior like a 1970s steakhouse. Food available. 7-8 of their own taps plus about 20 others. Great service, even when busy.“

“Wow, this is a great big new place. Plenty of tables have nice water views. Two floors and great outdoor seating. (Not much parking though) Good selection of their beers. Fast knowledgeable service. I did not see pictures a head of time. I just thought this was a pizza place. It's much more.“

“Exceeded expectations. Came hoping for good food with decent beer and success. Great sandwiches, soup, Buffalo favorites. Beer is limited yes. But it was fresh and well made. Staff didn't know much about the food or beer but were friendly.“

“More upscale version of the Niagara Falls original. More taps, bigger, in a more shopping area. Some better taps for sure that would appeal to the craft brew crowd. A regular stop.“

“Nice taproom in industrial park, if somewhat underserved. Busy for a Tuesday at 5 pm. Lots of hoppy beers, although most do not stand out. Worth a try but not worth going out of the way for. Older guy hangout.“

“Smaller bar, kind of a rustic feel inside. Usually lots of locals at any given time. Service is fast, and the selection is one of the best in WNY - Grimm, Other Half, Suarez, Two Roads, Perennial could be on at any given time. Bar does Crowlers to go. Smaller menu, I recommend the Empanadas and Fries. Prices are a tad higher than elsewhere but quality-wise few other places come close.“

“Off a side street in Williamsville. Limited parking but it’s is free atleast. Dimly lit inside which helps avoid eye contact with all the new money fuckbois in the place. Tap and bottle list is pretty solid. Prices in line. They have a good menu which was more wieners.“

“We had a good time there talking to one of the co-owners(Kevin). Nice to hear about the operation. I tried a nice flight of beers and Kevin gave us samples of his 2 other beers on tap. They had a few guest taps too.“

“It’s a nice old building that is kept up well. The barmaids were attentive. They only had 4 house beers that were kind of bland(inoffensive). Some old drunk guy at the bar was trying to ask us too many questions. I ignored him, while Joe actually tried to talk to him. - Stopped in 9/30/22 . Patty and I stopped in for dinner. After going to Britesmith, this place is very old and darker. Everyone there was retired like me. They had a few of their beers and some guest beers. The free popcorn and nuts were enjoyed before dinner.“

“Located by the airport tucked away in a comercial complex. Pretty large open area with an adequate size bar, some picnic tables and a good view of the brewing operation. Service was slow, they only had one server for about 30-40 people. Beer selection was about 8 of their own plus some guest taps. Their offerings were pretty mediocre. They had food but no one really seems to be eating.“

“Great new place half an hour from Darien Lake that I can go to while my kids are in the park. Cosy, clean, cool bathroom concept. Selection isn’t huge, but is well chosen. Fantastic service from Melissa, and the fries and sausages from Alison were absolutely fantastic. Among the best fries I’ve tried.“

“Ambiance: The place is a nice basement bar with solid old brick and old wooden overhead beams, lower lighting and a cozy feel. The bar can hold about 10-12 patrons with smaller tables around. Service: Decent and curtious, bartenders have been friendly and knowledgeable but can get overwelmed when the place is busy. Selection: 20 decent to great taps, smaller bottle selection and more of an up scale liquor selection although limited due to size of the place. Food: Sausages and French Fries...limited menu as the food is decent although a little pricey. Value: As stated earlier, food is decent but pricier, same thing goes for the taps, you will get more limited releases on tap but dont expect to go there for a cheap pint, which the place is set up appropriately for a better crowd. Overall, I like the place because I like the cozier, quiet basement bar feel, the ocassional harder to find beer but living there would be expensive. The location fills a hole of a higher priced area without a decent craft beer bar nearby.“

“Great family restaurant with huge 30 tap list of great craft and micro choices, some that other locations in the area don’t have. Service was very helpful in my visit and food was fantastic and a huge menu. They offer a special discount like a "membership" card of 15 pints for 55 bucks that you can redeem between visits and never expires.“

“Visited: 2-28-12 A: The bar area can hold about 18-20 people plus table seating around it. There is craft brewers decor around the area. Not a total craft beer nerd haven as it caters to their food patrons primarily. Q: The beer quality is decent as the beers are served at proper carbonation and very few macros. S: Decent service, some bartenders know their stuff and some go through the motions of whatever they have been told to say. S: The beer selection is decent as they get some beers that you dont typically see anywhere else in WNY, but they also have some common and local stuff on tap too. 30 taps from a wide variety including a cask tap too. F: The food is decent but nothing you really would go out of your way for. Value: They ride the line between pricey and expensive on all of their beer selections. Something that can be had elsewhere locally is typically a buck of two more and they have a other beers where they not only over charge for but serve at smaller sizes. Overall, I go to Pizza Plant once in a while to see if they have anything different on tap but there are better selections (and cheaper in cost) not far away.“

“When I visited: April 2013. What I had: Peak Organic IPA, Victory Swing Session Saison, Elysian Dragonstooth Stout, and Stillwater Stateside Saison on tap, Stone Cascade Dry Hopped Ruination IPA on cask, two Caesar Salads, Fajita and Chicken Sausage Pods, Carrot Cake to split, several sauvignon blancs for the Mrs. What I liked: Insanely good draught lineup, delicious food, approachable no frills atmosphere, comfortable and private booths, nice crowd that minds their own. What I disliked: Our server was clearly in a rush, they close quite early (12ish on a Friday night?), and the prices are a tad high, but we still enjoyed our time here. Would I go back? Yes. Overall rating: 78“

“Nice pizza joint with impressive tap list.We went on a Friday night, they had a live band, so it was extremely loud near the bar, but you could sit in the restaurant, where the band was not too loud. We returned a week later and there was no band. Excellent selection of taps with many american micros. Decent bottle list with prices that are value oriented for what you get. Extensive menu needs an hour to read over properly. Pizza is world class in my opinion, excellent. Worth a stop IMO.“

“Lunch with the wife. Large restaurant, with an impressive tap list, 40 plus a cask. Prices for the beer were reasonable. Food was a bit pricey but large portions made up for that. Service was a tad slow, but acceptable. Good family atmosphere... We will defiantly be back after wee baby Avery arrives.“

“lunch with my wife. I sampled two of thier house beers, both were beyond subpar. The rest of the beers on tap were common, but acceptable nonetheless. Food and service were good. Large menu to pick from made it hard. An ok, place, i wonder if they will sell me their equipment since they clearly extract brew house beers.“

“It seems to be disliked by local community. I gave them chance. It was not great but it was not disaster either. Service was quiet friendly and seemed to care. The issue might be that they cater to families and not beer geeks. Food was ok with reasonable prices.“

“Meh... their house beers are extract based if I recall correctly, my apologies if I’m wrong, regardless they aren’t worth drinking in my opinion. Luckily they have a passable selection of guest taps. The food is pretty decent Buffalo style pub grub. Wings, beef on weck, etc. Free popcorn, which is always nice. I guess you could do worse, but if you’re in this area you might as well just continue down Main or Transit and hit up one of the Pizza Plants.“

“Not as intimate as the Main St location but far more room than both Main and it’s olde location. Prompt service, and the waitress knew her beer. Very good selection when I was there - Stone, Victory, Bear Republic, a couple interesting imports. Food is still very tasty and a good value. they also have WiFi as an added bonus. Close to shopping which my Wife likes as well!“

“Cozy place with 4 of their own beers on tap and about 25 or so others. Their beers are okay, but nothing exceptional, although based on some past reviews it seems they have gotten some infection/brewing issues under control. 6 oz. flight-size samples are available, though I don’t remember the price; our bill was pretty cheap though, so it couldn’t have been that much. The food it typical pub fare with some Buffalo favorites, again, nothing mind blowing, but solid and fairly priced. Complimentary self-serve popcorn and peanuts are also available. Our waitress was friendly, and overall my experience was enjoyable. If there was more of a rotation on the house beers I’d probably come back at some point.“

“Near the airport, Transit area. Pretty large and pleasant place, frequented by lots of college studatents, so everyone can get ID’d there. Crowded but still feeling of some room if you can get at the bar for your order. Saw about 20 or so taps, with some decent selections, but not the big new ones you can get nearby at Pizza Plant, and certainly at Cole’s and Mr. Goodbar. You can get 6 oz. size glasses, perfect for a proper sampling. I tried their house beers this way which were passable. Music is kept down and folk rocky so conversation is easy. Separate bar area for those eating at a bar, which was good. Very good service for a buzy place.“

“Decent brewpub. The beers aren’t that good. The food isn’t half bad, pub grub. Pretty nice inside, if peanuts shells on the floor isn’t your thing. Solid selection of tap beers that you could have a fun night with but nothing most people havent tried before. Service was pretty bad the couple times I ate here. Check it out if you really want to, but only for that.“

“Pizza Plant has always been a great place. Food is good, it’s one of the few places in Buffalo where you can get cask beer regularly & there are always interesting things on tap. Probably the most family friendly beer-related place in the Buffalo area.“

“As good as Walker location, though I often find the wait staff are not as knowledgeable about beer as at Walker. I was served a lager when I ordered a Rogue ale, and had to explain to the server then the bartender the difference between a lager and an ale, especially a Rogue! But the beer selection is as good as Walker, the food is too. And there’s more space here, it seems. the bar has more events, and music on the weekends. Pods are great, curried nachos are surprisingly awesome, and as a vegetarian I especially like the incredible range of veggie options. Makes me feel like I’m not a second class citizen, unlike many pubs in the US of A.“

“Visited on a quiet midday Sunday last May, we sat down in a booth and nursed a couple new ratings while eating yummy pods/panzerottis. Tasty food, friendly service, fair selection of brews all combined for a pleasant experience. Would be a good local pub, depending on how often they rotate their selection, but solid regardless.“

“Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday, it was pretty quite. Service was friendly enough, but not entirely sure who made some of the beers - they offered a peak at their cheat sheet instead. (It was on the board I eventually figured out). Food was decent, I think I will lean towards making my own pod on future visits as I wasn’t thrilled with mine, Mabels was better. Atmosphere is similar to Main St. with an Italian pizza place with a splash of sports bar vibe. Decent tap selections, nothing super rare but a serviceable selection of US micro brews. Less convenient than the Main St. location I think. Beer was served too icy cold, which I seem to recall was a problem at Main St, and many US locations actually.“

“The Brew Pub has great bartenders that are knowledgable of the beers available. The food is what you would expect - above average pub food clean bathrooms, plenty of parking, good place for drinking at the bar or sitting down for dinner. As far as the beer selection, there is usually a good selection of New York beers like saranac, ithaca, flying bison, southern tier and brooklyn but sadly no middle ages. There is also normally a great lakes and long trail available. As far as the house brew its hit and miss, but the oatmeal stout is great and around christmas they have a strong ale that is good.“

“I have been to Pizza Plant about 6 or so times and i now have a new baby and went to change him and there was no changing area at the transit road location, I called a few days later to voice my opinion to Chuck the store manager, He said they have 2 bathrooms, and the changing area is in the womans bathroom by the bar?????? We were stuck in the back corner of the store by the patio and assumed that the 2 bathrooms down the hall were the only bathrooms, I asked Kindly to post a sign so that future dads/ moms will know to go around the corner to the bar bathroom. the Food has honestly degraded from where it used to be a few years ago. seemed like the sub roll was not so fresh, and was wheat bread, not even an option for white????? I was not even asked, and I thought that the turkey sub came with White bread? The highlight of the visit was the pickle that I gave my 9 month old son to suck on, he would not let go of that pickle for nothing.“

“went there to watch a sabres game with my sister. i was surprised by the somewhat narrow selection, but they were all beers that i’d enjoy drinking. even my sister, who once asked for a beer geek’s alternative to coors light, found a decent beer she enjoyed. the service was good enough, but the bartender enjoyed talking about her favorite beers, which i always enjoy. the food exceptional, especialy if, like me, you like pizza. i had to give a high overall rating because they sold me a bottle of new glarus belgian red, which isn’t distributed in the buffalo area, nor can i get it in pittsburgh or ohio. score!“

“Transit location has more taps than Main Street, more better beer, a much bigger bar area and Mike as the manager who knows his beer. The girls have learnbed to pour a pint. Strong beers are limited in serving size to 8 oz. The taps have short lines and there is little gas in the mixture, so there is no overcarbonation of beer. Less bottles than Main Street Small handwritten notes, but here they are on the board. But the next aft, the beer you came for is gone. The good news is something else is available that’s still very good. One hand pump. A bit less Tacky decorating on every square inch of everything, wall or coming from bar, with scrawled notes. Sports big TV rather than overloud music.“

“Cozy local bar with light what looking like pine long bar and interior. Well lit, but not bright, with shells of penuts all over the floor. I personally like places like this, where you can saddle up to the bar with a friend and drink some beer. House offerings are not very good but they had a nice selection of 20 or so guest taps including Anchor OSA, Great Lakes Burning River, and Ithica Cascazilla to name a few when I was there. Bar staff was friendly and prompt, though did not seem very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. Too bad their beers aren’t good.“

“Like those before me, this location is better basically because there is a hell of a lot more room to move and is not so crowded. Taps are rotating constantly with hard to find beers. I like how they tell you what will be up on tap next as well. I wasnt too impressed with the food, personally.“
