“Interesting place: 80% coffee shop and 20%beer bar. Beer is all in cans and bottles. Some wine and champagne too. Spacious interior. Beers are primarily local. $4/12oz can. Not bad. I would come here for coffee instead of beer. I ordered a can to go, but cashier immediately popped it open, so that was a bummer, but no big deal.“

“10/2022. Looks like it was replaced by Carolina Tap House. 24 taps. Mostly locals. Color downtown location. More of just a bar now.“

“Interesting brewery taproom. 16 taps of which most seem to be guest beers. I just bought a house beer in a can from the refrigerator. Interesting quiet town. Great zoo nearby. Drop by here if you are visiting the zoo .“

“Street parking or parking in the back. We came in the back door which was a nice stroll through kegs and stuff. Sunday afternoon and a lot of people with kids waiting on the 6pm movie to start. Really good selection of beers. All the beers were good to solid. Pet friendly. Kid/family friendly. They have an activity going on every night. Food truck out front. WIFI available. Flights and 1/2 pours as well. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Big bar and seating area as well as out front. The town seemed like the kinda town I wish I lived in. You gotta stop by if you are in the area. I plan to make the effort to come by again.“

“What a great place! Easy street parking, but I think there’s parking in back too. Attractive and cozy interior with lots of wood. Working fireplace. Brewhouse visible through glass. Dog, child and adult friendly. Half the town seemed to be hanging out, as well as a bunch of groupon people. 13 house beers and someone else’s cider available as full pours, half pours or flight of four. Beers served in PROPER GLASSWARE!!! I am not kidding. No shaker pints visible - a true miracle for North Carolina. Beers are tasty and creative. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and engaging, and amused themselves by secretly recording the brewer at work and posting it on instagram. One of them showed me an article where Charlie Papazian taste tested their beers. Small tasty snax available, or they have a list of menus from nearby places that deliver. If I lived anywhere nearby, this would be my local.“

“Cool place to stop in for a beer. The decor and layout are nice. Restrooms were clean and well lit. The beer is good. Service was fast and friendly. They dont open until 2pm on a saturday, which is kind of lame. Otherwise I enjoyed my visit. No food on site though several people brought food in. Recommended.“
