“Had a random 70 degree day in November & wanted to be outside. Drove by this place plenty of times & never noticed. Like 5 minutes before Barn Door ciders, it had just rained the day before & the place was plenty muddy. Steps, seats, runaway mulch, nothing was really neated up before opening. I'm surprised I haven't read about any kids rolling down hill. Plenty of parking, cute train crossing at the front, themed lights throughout. For the layout, think terrace farming. Multi levels of seating, slides & yard games. Main entrance is not ADA friendly though. There's a road that lets you park at bar level. That's where you'll probably end up anyway. I see PA announce speakers all over the place, but nothing was playing at noon on a Sunday. Looks like it'll be well lit once night comes. Locomotive order window, kids can climb all through & up the back end of it. Cute wood rounds seated in front, so no real bar. Bookended by an open caboose with more close nit seating. This opens out into all the cascading seating & the quiet top level street where the food trucks park. The auto setting table top bowling machine is also here. Sixteen taps on when we arrived, some local soda & wine, plus six bottles & several cans to go. $6 full pints outside of the mead & tripel. The had flights of course, but they obliged & got me half pours, which I prefer. No beer was bad, a couple were very good. The blood orange & hibiscus gose was super quaffable. Styles ranged from ipas to Belgian to German to pastry. Bartender was chill & poured samples without even asking. Appalachian Chick had some good sammies & odd latke-ish tater tots(you get 2). Though they didn't start serving till 2:15 & we skipped brunch because the menu looked solid. Fun place.“

“Located next to the highway, this place has plenty of parking. It also has a unique taproom which utlizes a train car and an engine car giving it a unique atmosphere.. They also have a fair amount of outdoor space as well. The beers range from very good to fantastic especially their hazy IPA's.“
