“Sub bar within the Copley Ohio Winking Lizard the whiskey bar is amazing. Largest whiskey bar in Ohio. Now for the beers they have 10 really nice beers on tap. They also have a really awesome beer store inside the bar. One of best in northeast Ohio. Inside seating for about 30 people, about 40 more seats outside on the patio. Food is awesome and the service is great and they know the beers. Plenty of Parking.“

“I just moved back to Akron from SoFlo. I was rather depressed to leave my familiar pubs and retail shops in FL. But then I found Lizardville which didn’t exist when I moved 6 years ago. They are tied into the Winking Lizard which is a mediocre restaurant with ample selection of drinks and beer. But Lizardville is a 21+ section that is a craft beer and whisky bar, bottle retail shop, with food. Selection of bottles is very nice both domestic and import. The food is OK but good enough. Bourbons and whiskeys are off the chart in selection. They have about 10 solid drafts rotating. Try it out!“

“Dedicated parking for Winking Lizard and Lizardville. Take a right at where the matre d’s are. The beer is on the left once you go in and the bar is on the right. Not as good of a selection as Bedford Heights, but pretty good. Was asked a couple times to be helped, so service was good. Above averaged pricing. I hope to go back some time and if you are in the Canton/Akron area I would recommend going here.“

“Nice space with a back and front bar, plus some tables. Has a few more beers on tap than the Bedford Hts location and has Thirsty Dog on tap often because of the area. The bottle selection is smaller than the Bedford Hts one, but the quality is still very good. Good amount of Italian craft, Mikkeller, Evil Twin, Freigeist Bierkultur to name a few. The bartenders were quick and friendly. Small pours available for a very fair price. It is connected to the Winking Lizard, but this part is still 21 +. The benefit is that you can get food from the full Winking Lizard food menu. “

“Overall a good place to get a decent bite to eat and select from their more than adequate number of beers on tap and in the bottle. Several large televisions and a relaxed sports bar atmosphere. The parking lot is always full even on Monday nights in the winter. But I was easily able to walk in and find a bar top.“

“Stopped at lizardville on a Saturday evening on the eve of the SEC championship with Greg, walked in and were greeted by Jake who is a helpful chap who likes to talk beer, and apparently knows Greg quite well. Seated at a table the experience is similar to all the others, though this Lizardville is directly connected to a winking Lizard which means more families around. Large parking lot, and shared bathrooms are all fine with me. Taplist and bottles are as you’d expect. Numerous. We shared some beers and food which benefits from the winking lizard next door and were off. Good Place would stop here if it were closer.“

“I can’t beleive I’m the first person to rate this place! Anyhow, I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, shortly after lunch. It’s attached to a Winking Lizard and has it’s own parking lot. It was pretty easy to get to, as it’s just a few minutes off I77. The layout is the same as all the other Lizardvilles, all their beer is separated by style. Some people like that, some don’t. I’d rather everything from a brewery be together. Anyhow, the selection seemed smaller than the Rocky River and Bedford Heights locations. Quality was the same, just a little smaller selection. The drafts were awesome the day I was there. A lot of stuff that is one off draft only from some great breweries. I was able to sample all of the ones I wanted in cool tasting glasses. The cigar selection was nice as well, although not really part of the beer experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff kept my glass full when I wanted them to. I walked out of there with a nice selection of bottles for about what I would expect. The atmosphere is really cool, and they seemed to have a lull while I was there. I will be back, especially since this is the closest Lizardville to me.“

“The Lizard has a great selection of beers and the bar staff seem to be well educated about what they are serving.“

“Large multiroomed place with a big rectangular bar. Wide list of 90 bottles plus extensive drafts. Casual sports bar atmosphere. Efficient service. Not a bad joint, some good beers and a wide selection of brewers. Oddly they serve just about everything in an english pint glass.“

“A winking lizard. A great old standby. Parking can be a little tricky at times at this location. They have a decent sized enclosed patio. My impression is that the servers here are a little less beer knowledgeable than other locations.“

“On a cold, wet, winter Wednesday eve, this place was loud and happy. Nice selection, good dinner bargain special. Non-smoking due to recent change.“

“I can go back here again and again. Got to visit during the 100 beers World Festival event. The place is pure pubstyle with a nice covered balcony and a big old lizard Erma there to greet all visitors. The Buffalo Chicken wrap was spectacular. A variety of brews available that I will NEVER see in Ontario. I’ll be back to Akron again soon.“

“Usually has about 18 beers on draught, some rotate monthly including the "Beer of the Month ("Keep the Glass Special"), "Hoppy, Hoppy", Belgian, and Seasonal handles. Also has over 100 bottles, some of which rotate yearly. Good drink and food specials every day for happy hour. A great place to drink and eat. Fodd selection is typical, but their wings and burgers are quite tasty! !!!Achtung!!! - The bottle prices are pretty high (sometimes 300% or more of bottleshop prices!).“

“This was a fun place. Plenty of good beer and great food. I went there on a business trip and ate there 4 out of 5 nights. (made wrong choice first night) Plenty of great beer to choose from. The place was jumping. I couldn’t get a spot at the bar any night there. Parking was a little crowded, but they have other business’s lots after a certin time.“

“Lots of locations in Cleveland/Akron/Canton areas and 2 in Columbus now. Lots of "bar" food selections, with casual dinner menu. About 100 + different beers to try aside from macro swill. The owners are big into craft and good beer so it’s worth making it into any one of these occasionally since their draft selection changes frequently. Usually good service, inexpensive good consistent meals, and a casual atmosphere. Lots of TV’s in all locations, and a beer glass of the month promotion.“

“Located near Summit Mall in Fairlawn not far from I-77. Parking is tricky due to a 1-way situation.

Inside, the bar is at the rear with restaurant seating around it. Sports memorabilia adorns the wall, and they have a nice selection of tap handles. TVs are everywhere.

The beer selection beats just about anybody in the area. There are 100+ bottled, and around 16 on draught. The bottled beers run the gamut from Stone, North Coast, GLBC, Victory, Bell’s etc. There are a couple of gems on tap too such as Arrogant Bastard and GLBC Dortmunder Gold. Also, they have a monthly featured beer that comes with a glass.

Winking Lizard has a great beer club. If you try either 50 or 100 (depending on what time of year) beers in the tour, you get a jacket. It costs $10. And you don’t get sacked with a bunch of macros you have to try along the way.

The service was good, as I was there for a late lunch. The bartender genuinely wanted to know what I thought of the beers I tried which I thought was nice.

The food here is above average pub fare. The wings are better than BW3 (about the same as Quaker Steak & Lube), and the Patty Melt at this location was pretty good.

This is a great spot to hit, and be sure to check out Mustard Seed Market, Acme, World Market and Thirsty Dog, all of which are in the same area.“
