Third & Hollywood (Restaurant)
1433 WEST 3RD AVENUE
“Get the cheddar herb biscuits - that’s the biggest takeaway here. They are ridiculous. Besides that... three decent taps. We had two hearted bottles. The food is solid. The missus had a burger and I had tuna dish with a huge artsy fartsy (but delicious) salad. We sat out in beautiful weather on the patio. The service was good - almost too much though - someone was hovering at all times. Good experience overall.“

“Went with Heather before the Rangers vs. Blue Jackets game on 4/4/2016. We were there early (like 5:00 PM just after checking into the hotel) so it was pretty quiet and we got very fast service. Tap list was decent, but in all honesty far too few local and/or Ohio beers for me to recommend it simply on beer merits for a local experience (only 6 out of 26 tap handles were from in-State). Service and food wise though it was awesome, as was the bacon cheeseburger and probably the best wings I’ve ever had (and I like my wings)“

Third & Hollywood (Restaurant)
1433 WEST 3RD AVENUE
“(Visited 03/2015): Third & Hollywood is located in Grandview ironically near the corner of 3rd and Hollywood. There is a small lot next to the building and street parking in the surrounding blocks.

There is a patio on the parking lot side. Inside the brick building there are red booths and table seating, with a small bar in the rear. There is an open kitchen in the back too.

The restaurant only has a few beers on draught and features Columbus breweries like Seventh Son, Land-Grant and Columbus Brewing. There are around 15 bottled beers too from breweries like Brew Kettle, Rockmill, Victory, Ithaca and MadTree.

Service for a Sunday brunch was good. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the meal.

Steak and Eggs for brunch was enjoyable.

Overall this is a nice restaurant to visit in Grandview that has a few solid beer options.“

“(Visited 06/2012): This newer location of MTM is located in Grandview on Grandview Ave right by the park. There is metered parking right in front and a couple lots nearby.

The inside opens right to the bar with table seating beyond. The bar wraps around with a narrow walkway between a row of high back tables. Similar look to the Dublin location, with lots of wood and dark colors.

Matt The Miller has around 20 draught options and usually stocks a few good ones. Beers from Columbus Brewing, Rogue, Dogfish Head and Bell’s Black Note on my visit (the reason I stopped in). They also have around 60 bottled beers both domestic and imported. Some examples include Great Lakes, Stone, Bells and Rogue.

Service on an absolutely slammed weekday happy hour was about as good as you can expect. The bartender did take a few minutes to chat about Black Note and different beer events they were looking to do.

I did not have any food on this visit, but the menu is the same as the other location.

All in all there are other beer destinations nearby that I would put in front of MTM but if they are willing to commit to nabbing beers like Black Note I will keep coming back.“
