“Sixth Sense has a large, modern space on Portsmouth Street at Main in downtown Jackson. The original, smaller space is adjacent to this place and is now just for events. There are 20 taps and a cooler with bottles and cans. The beer was good. Nothing special, but decent from what I tried. Flights of 4 are available and drafts can be ordered in multiple sizes. Prices were good, very reasonable. There's a kitchen but I didn't eat. It's a family friendly space, with a golf simulator, darts, a big connect 4, board games, and shuffleboard. Service was good - friendly, if a little slow. There aren't really any other options in Jackson, so it's nice that they have a very good one.“

“Right in the center of town, modern interior. Tables, high tables and patio. 14 taps of their own, range of styles. Food available. Pretty good crowd on a Weds night.“

Arch & Eddie’s (Restaurant)

“Visited during Ohio Brew Week on a Saturday close to lunch time. On street parking is available for free, but is limited to 2 hours at a time. The building is right beside Sixth Sense Brewing, so you can hit them both at the same time. The restaurant is broken up into a few different areas with the bar having it’s own room, and off from it is the patio. On my visit they had 12 different Ohio brewed beers on draft and they carried a small but decent selection of craft beer in bottles and cans. Service was friendly and fast, though I’m not so sure the girl working knew a lot about the beers. That’s alright though. She knew what was on tap, just didn’t really know much more than that. I had a chicken sandwich and fries and they were pretty good. Prices were in line with expectations. Overall the place is nice, and it seems like they are trying to provide a good craft beer selection to an underserved part of the state.“

“Visited shortly after they opened at about Noon on a Saturday. It is located at about the end of downtown Jackson. Plenty of parking is available. The spots I found were limited to 2 hours, but they were free. The location is fairly large inside. Plenty of places to sit. I was the only person here, so I sat at the bar. During my visit they had 8 of their own beers on tap, two guest taps, and a couple wines on tap. They have snacks like peanuts available, but no other food. There is a place next door that has decent food. The quality of the beer was actually pretty good. A couple I didn’t care for, but the rest I thought were great. I had 2 flights of 4 beers, both were $6. Service was knowledgeable and friendly. This place is pretty nice overall. I look forward to my future visits.“
