“This is a neat place but not really a beer place. It is in rural Union county in a barn like building. They had five beers, five ciders and lots of their wines available. I was there early and got great personal service from the"ton" half of Dalton. She warned that on a busy Saturday night the place gets crazy. This is one of the winery places now serving beer and has that feel to it.“

“I live in the neighborhood behind this store and for the longest time never even went in thinking it was just a typical ’corner store.’ Turns out they have a huge selection of beer! It’s all up front. The rest of the store has your typical overpriced corner store sundries. No real comparison to someplace like The Andersons (my favorite) but really nice for a small town like Marysville. Service is not much more than the guy behind the counter asking he can help you and then ringing you out, but it’s nice to just browse sometime. The store is crowded and cluttered and there’s no real sense of order to the beer but if you take your time there’s some gems to be found here. Prices are a bit more than a bigger retailer but I suppose that’s to be expected for a place like this. I’m moving soon but glad I found this place and I hope they continue to focus on a big beer variety.“

“Great little place in Marysville, Ohio. Not a huge beer selection but a really nice sampling of Ohio made brews. Excellent food for reasonable prices. Great service, very attentive without ’hovering.’ Nice décor, if a bit cozy. Makes one think of a little French café. Happy to find a place like this in Marysville!“

“Best fish and chips in Ohio. Good supporting menu, although just a bit pricey. Great beer selection. Service is hit or miss, hope for one of the better servers. Standard pub decor in the eating area, nothing special. Nice bar though. Very nice covered patio.“

MVP Foodmart (Beer Store)

“(Visited 05/2012): MVP is located on the north side of Marysville in a shopping plaza on Route 31, not too far off 33. There is a good-sized parking lot.

The place is essentially a convenience store and the beer is featured right near the entrance on different shelves.

Marysville is not typically a place to go for craft beer spots, so the selection at MVP is a welcome sight despite not being on the same level as good stores in bigger cities. They carry domestic craft brewers like Avery, Alesmith, Great Lakes, Bells, Rogue, Stone and Coronado. Imports from Belgium, the UK and Germany as well.

Service at the store is pretty good. The guys behind the counter were friendly and asked if any help was needed.

Overall this is one of the few places in Marysville to find a decent craft beer selection.“
