“Wolftree Winery is pretty far off the beaten path. Gravel driveway at the end of a gravel road off a county road. There's a small yellow sign to help you find it. It's a one-man operation and the tasting room is built on to the back of his house. There were close to 2 dozen bottles when I visited. Mostly meads, but also some ciders and fruit wines. He'll let you taste as many things as you want for a flat rate of $5 and then bottles are for sale. They're pretty good, too. Nice 1-2 afternoon visit along with Dutch Creek if you're looking for some mead and cider outside of Athens.“
