“Oh Lina’s, what weird little place you are. It’s cramped as hell, and the beer you pick out might be coated in dust, but it’s always an adventure. A proper visit to Painesville also includes a stop at the biggest Mexican grocery in the Cleveland area, La Mexicana Grocery, and the attached taco stand, El Señor’s Tacos.“

“As has been said, wide selection but some old stuff lingering around. They had 3 Floyds bottles when 3 floyds hasn’t been distributed in Ohio for a long, long time. Still, good prices alone make it worth stopping here. Not far off the 90 if you’re heading West towards Cleveland.“

“This looks like your typical corner liquor store from the outside, but hides a treasure trove inside. The selection here was fantastic. They don’t split sixes, which is too bad because I would have spent double what I did if I could pick and choose what I wanted. There are some older bottles here (which they could move if they split sixes) so beware. The guys behind the counter were friendly enough and we chatted about beer for a minute. A bit out of the way for me, but worth a drive.“

“Completely unassuming from outside. Folks in beat down cars drinking malt liquor, beer signs on the windows, but inside... Great selection of beers, from micros to internationals.“

“This is THE beer museum of NE Ohio. If it has been available in the last few years, it’s probably in one of the insane amounts of coolers here. Lots of very outdated/stale beer, but at the same time, no one forced me to buy the stuff. Service can be spotty. No singles out of 6 packs. There is one cat who works here who really knows his stuff and has a passion for beer, but if he’s not around, you’re on your own. But fear not, RateBeerian! The coolers are very organized and easy to browse, as long as someone else in the isle doesn’t open a cooler door, shutting down any chance of moving past them. These guys probably have the largest selection in the area. If you can find it and don’t get turned off by the grime and general blight of Painesville, you could easily spend some time and money in here.“

“found this place on the way down to Cleveland. Shockingly large selection of hard to gets. Service was almost a negative, throwing me some boxes, bit the assistant could not count and told me wrongly that I can select single bottles. Everything is kept a bit too cold which was a concern. There was a great selection of Avery, Great Divide, Old Dominion, Founders, Alesmiths, Three Floyds, all stuff I was looking for but could not handle 6 paks of everything. A worthy stop, and not that much out of the way. “

“Outstanding selection of both domestics and imports. Its a hole in the wall, you'd never guess when you walked up to the place that it would have such a great beer selection. Mostly six packs (especially domestics) but a good selection of singles as well. Everything in coolers.“

“This is probably the single best beer store in Northeast Ohio as far as selection is concerned. I've been to Biddulph Bev., Southland Bev., and a few others, but this has an extensive beer selection, including many Belgian beers I've not seen anywhere else in the area. They boast having over 1300 kinds of beer, yes that includes macro swill, but you take the good with the bad. And it's all in coolers. They also have a large selection of wines.“
